I've never heard a Sabbath song I could call metal... I don't listen to them so if you have a song to prove me wrong then go ahead. Iron Maiden is heavy metal. Judas Priest is power metal... they basically created it. As for Deep Purple? I guess some songs could be considered but I would side more on hard rock.
