  • Stop shaking you hand it freaking me the fuck out.

  • brilliant

  • I really hope you can sing and write cause if you can then you would be the #1 solo artist. ALTERNATIVE: if you cant sing then play a song for a chick that can sing and she will be all over you man.

  • Sounds amazing!

  • he reminds me of the kid from the movie August Rush

  • this is inspiring. wish i could play like this. guess it's time to pick up the six string :D

  • Amazing!

  • awesome guitar tune. lil kay ft harry j, all these things. check it out on youtube.

  • cool

  • there are capos that can select what strings u want down

  • To anyone who knows how a capo works doesn't this have to be fake? There shouldn't be any notes past the first one :S

  • uhm.. there are many kind of capo's.

get your head out of the metal ;)

  • Just because i don't know different capo's means i like metal now?

  • ive been playin guitar for 7 years and i thought the same thing. that dudes just being a jerk off. its a good question. and i dont have the answer either haha.

  • now that i've seen these capos im GASing for one. Bloody GAS lol.

  • @66Titan66 its called a "partial capo"

  • yeh this is wierd b4 today i had never really seen acoustic tapping like this but this is really good justin king is great

  • this doesnt make much sense to me but its sick!

  • I don't see how this is possible...

  • Trace bundy does they same with 5 capos. They modify them to allow strings to pass through.

  • third hand capos, not very common anymore but they allow you to choose which strings you want depressed

  • wouldn't the notes between the capos be mute ?

  • very very cool

  • huh?!?!?!

  • how the fuck does that work?

  • very inspiring... good job man

  • me and my buddies (look up Grant Perry on MySpace...next big thing, i promise you) played an acoustic coffee house show down in Cinci Ohio, and a guy wrote a 2 capo song for us after we begged him.

  • dis guy is fuckin sick

  • Blessed with spider fingers.

  • Hes really amazing

  • wow

  • is this a real song.. cause if it is a want it!!! please write back!

  • wow.. i want this on my ipod lol

  • almost sounds like andy mckee

  • where did you find this?

    how do I do this?

are those tears streaming down my cheeks?

    did I just die?

I am not sure of anything anymore...???

  • truly awesome!

  • unbelievable

  • sweet man

  • if i go to the guitar shop and buy a guitar and the next day i go to the same shop again and buy an amp and wire,if i stick the wire in my ass hole with the other plug in the guitar, will the noise come out my mouth?

  • yes but only if you hook 9 volt batteries to your nipples

  • this guy reminds me of another guitarist named thomas leeb.. and he has some custom made capos..

    nice dude keep on playing..

  • Fucking good.

  • this guy deserves a beatdown.

  • why

  • just does

  • YOU deserve to get a beatdown

  • no dont

  • mmmhmmm

  • this guy deserves more attention

  • thats the style i like 2 hear an play...its like andy mckee only this looks way cooler...playing it with 2 different guitars is just gay...an a piano? nathanjill is right..u idiot it wouldnt sounds the bloody same tool

  • the one on top is called a partial capo

  • that's wild! very cool stuff there...keep up the good work!

  • it wouldnt sound the same on piano would it? fucking idiots . . .

  • this sounds really nice is this an original song by him?

  • tcoph's technique here seems to present much confusion to some guitar players. two capo's, well, one of two things... 1) partial capo, like on strings 6-3, which looks like what he's got capo'd at the 3rd fret i think. The other capo looks like its capo'ing all strings, oh no! One word... NOTCHES... gaurantee he has notches cut out.

  • what are notches?

  • cutting notches is pretty simple. you cut out parts of the capo so that desired strings are left open, while the rest are capo'd. best way to do it is to leave a capo on the guitar for a little bit, so that the strings leave marks on the capo, making it easier to cut the capo and make it accurate.

  • Once you cut those notch-things into your capo, then you're gonna have to have a couple others handy if you wanna use full capos again.

  • belive me iv tried, simply putting two capos on the neck doesnt work, the notes dont ring out in beween no matter how hard you press or even pluck. Any sugestions?

  • lol dude, you cut notches in the capo thats higher up on the neck. if you say cut notches out on the 2nd and 4th strings, then those strings will now be fretted at the capo that is lower down the neck. if you have any questions still just send me a msg here on youtube and i'll explain again. peace.

  • Well if your up for it can you tell me what tuning hes using?

  • now for that one... you're gonna have to ask t-coph himself! no clue here.

  • im not flying all the way to Taiwan lol

  • he is from japan. and he uses DADGAD and DADF#AD most of the time

  • how does it work? wouldnt the capo mute the string off?

  • not of u tap hard on it

  • false information... wrong wrong.

  • if you want to see a similar musician, search arockprier. but no open tuning, at all on mine.

  • Holy shit! I've never seen anything like that before. Sure, Joe Satriani and Steve Vai have some of the fastest fingers in the world (which is awesome, don't get me wrong) but that was the most beautiful/creative thing I've ever seen! Hats off to you!

  • You should check out some of the Andy McKee videos that are on here. He basically does the same thing but better in my opinion. This guy just doesn't put as much feeling and emotion into it as Andy does. He's good, I'm not trying to drag him down, I just think Andy does a better job.

  • lol, I agree. I found andy for the first time right after I found this guy. Maybe within 10 minutes. It inspired me so much, I actually took the time to learn "for my father" and even bought a 3rd hand capo to learn "rylynn"

  • That has to be the most awsome thing I have ever seen... I wish I could play like that.. T-Cophoney is great!

  • 2 capos forms somekind of another neck of the guitar.. so it's really like playing on two guitars.. the 2 capos form higher notes i suppose.. I should try this one, if i can.. :P

  • can someone explain to me how the notes between the two capo's would ring out? might be a stupid question but i dont understand how that works? fantastic song though, like it a lot, and if i had two capos handy i'd learn it:P

  • I'm gonna hazard a guess and suggest that the upper (and possibly lower) capo is not actually resting on the all the strings. So for example the lower capo maybe covering 4 stings at the 3rd and the upper might be covering the remaining 2 at the 9th fret (or whichever one that is). Certainly looks to be something like that.

  • makes sense i suppose, i just need to go out, get another capo and mess around with it, i love learning songs like this.. makes me feel like im a lot better of a guitar player than i actually am

  • what is the secret to your powers?! lmao

  • I never knew that something so beautiful could exist.

You are truly the most talented guitar player I've ever seen.

  • Amazing talent. 5 stars for you!

  • check out my vid its called cool guitar search under troa65 =P nice vid btw

  • now if you started reading this dont stop its really scary!ok send this to five other videos in 143 minutes. when you are done press F6 and your crushes name will appear on the screen in big letters this is weird because it does work. If you break this chance you wont have a crush in the next five years

  • that is how you play a guitar

  • R1NELLA your not alone. Same with me, I loved grunge : pearl jam, audioslave and guns n roses, but once I heard Erik Mongrain for the first time I had to switch to acoustic. EVERYONE WHO LIKED THIS VIDEO SHOULD TRY OUT ERIK, HE PLAYS THE SAME KIND OF MUSIC!!! SEARCH FOR AIRTAPS!

  • awesome job man, you're extremely talented and this by the way sounds awesomee

    way to go man

  • this is one of the most amazing things i have ever seen in my life. and the sound is beautiful. im into death and black metal and i find this to be soothing and if you will, orgasmic. this guy has inspired me so much. i've been playing for about 3-4 years and im thinking about putting the grunge and heavy minor stuff and trying this stuff. its amaazziinnngg.

  • the sound is sweet, but pff, I don't like all those tapping and stuffs, can't explain but it annoys me everytime i see it

  • this guy, eric mongrain and andy mckee are the new michael hedges

  • Amazing man, I don't quite understand how you get those notes inbetween the capos either, but beautiful song.

  • So sweet

  • I don't understand how you can get actual notes from the strings between the capos - anyone care to explain what's going on here - I just don't get it.

  • I've been interested in non-traditional ways to play the guitar and you are an inspiration! Amazing sounds! As somebody else said, it's as much fun to watch as it is to listen to.

  • This is not only nice to listen to it is also great to watch :)

  • That's f***ing amazing. Well Done

  • hey cud u tell me wot this songs called and where i cud get the tab for it pleeeeeeeeeease??? =D
