this documentary gets it wrong trying to simplify things (or dumbing it down for the noobs to understand). even if his apm is almost 4x more compared to average player he still isn't 4x faster. spamming tons of commands will not add to the speed of the game, nor does he get 4x more done. there's even higher apm players who still lose too. i wished rts games would develop differently since they are strategy games afterall, but apparently many developers prefer this sort of speed related gameplay

@DonMega187 Lol, they're not just spamming commands, look at their replays, they can command multiple units to do their specific tasks in just a fraction of a second. They lose only in positioning, harrassments and mineral/vespene deficit. If you look at their replays, in a clash, can you see units stuck up on traffic congestion? NO! In early minutes, let's say up to 5 minutes. If you have that 300+ apm and you use it accordingly, you can be ahead of your enemy having only less than 300 apm.

It's possible that a player above the range can compete (ex: NesTea), but almost none has been able to achieve this. And honestly, the GSL is the toughest league in the world. White-Ra hasn't shown that he can compete with players from the GSL. Sure, he's a top foreigner, but among Koreans, he is average.
