John has found what is called the 80-10-10 Diet from Doug Graham. It is based mainly on principles from what is called Natural Hygiene. You basically eat a lot of fruit, greens and vegetables. As much raw food as you can. You strive to get plenty of calories, well above what is considered normal by dieters. 2500-3500 for men or more. Fuel your body with the best, no protein powders. John say 60 days, 17 pounds fat loss 6 pounds muscle gained AVERAGE for his clients. That's amazing.
These workouts are tough and test the body in a way traditional weightlifting just can't do. Not knocking anyone into bodybuilding or looking solely to for size. If that's your thing that you would be better off in a "regular gym". If you're a UFC fan at all, it seems to me that these really big guys are getting beat left and right by skinny dudes mostly because the big guy gases out early. Being lean, and being functionally fit wins out over just big muscles for me.
Monkey bar gym workouts rock. You can do a lot of these at home too. I work out for fitness, not to show off. Thanks, J/H, for creating the best workout around.
At 45, I work out here and the core strength exercises are fantastic. Monkey Bar Gym also post workouts online so you can do it at home too. No better way to keep fit. Most gyms are meat markets. This place has no mirrors or posers. Just everyone busting their arses.
Seriously, no. Gymnastics are highly demanding and athletic, but performance is first in the sport, and health and long term fitness is somewhere back in 10th place in their priorities. MBG seems to all about health and the ability to train forever...most gymnasts are shot/done/crippled by the time they are 25.
OMG! I came up with an idea for a health club just like this a couple of months ago. I see that this has been posted in 2006, LOL. I guess there's nothing new under the sun--great minds think alike? Anyway, I'm still in shock that my "new idea" turned out not to be new, but still, I must say YOU GUYS ROCK:-) More power to ya and keep up the great work.

Mr Cocketinyoursocket. Suggest you get back to your very sad and useless bicep curls. MBG would be too hard for the likes of you anyway.
