In the actual series, I liked Sunny and Denise's relationship. It was pretty funny, and I can see how you could get a lot of material out of that. When did I ever say House was realistic? No Medical show is realistic, however, the most realistic environment is in Scrubs. While the characters and alot of the events are over-exaggerated, many events and behaviours do reflect a real hospital.
Read "House of God". Its a great insight into the first year of residency. And once you have read it, you will know that Scrubs is very loosely based on it.
House of God was the closest thing to my intern year.

There is realistic enough and then there is utterly unrealistic. These interns are not interesting, not at all. Infact, what was so great about JD and Turk was that their personalities were unveiled over a long period of time. We know who these kids are, and most of all, they act like kids. Watch the pilot episode again and remind yourself of what it was like.
I know they need to aim towards the major audiences, but the niche of physicians and older people that watch the show willbe dissapointe

neil flynn, who played the character janitor, played on harrison ford's "the fugitive", as well. on one episode of scrubs, he admits to jd that he was actually played on that movie. so, i guess the name of janitor on the series will be revealed as neil flynn, if it's ever going to be revealed.
Bill Lawrence says "When you hear the Janitors name, the show is over." And there is a good chance this is the last season, so I'm pretty sure we will hear the Janitors name at the end, yes, probably when he gets married in the Bahamas. I hope the show keeps going though, even though J.D. is leaving, I'll watch it as long as the Janitor stays, he's the funniest hands down. The fact that he improv's most of his lines makes him even funnier.

I hope the show keeps going though, even though J.D. is leaving, I'll watch it as long as the Janitor stays, he's the funniest hands down. The fact that he improv's most of his lines makes him even funnier.

yeah, that's what it means. he's in a very popular improv comedy team in hollywood. i think the guy who did the sports in anchorman is on it too, but i'm not 100%.
