@surgetron1337 Dude, there are a number of guys with Turbo Contours that will whip the crap out of most 99 Camaro SS's. I have a 1995 Mercury that would kick the crap out of that cavalier. Probably give your Firebird a run for its money if you could barely pull away from a stock Grand Am.

mazda had nothing to do with the duratec v6's but they did make all(4cyl&6cyl) engines in ford probes from 1989-1997 with the exception of the 3.0 ford Vulcan pushrod v6 in the 1st gen lx's.
What's the engine and transmission in that contour? The 2.5 L Duratec would stand a better chance that the Zetec i4.

yea, the contour has more power towards the end. only had the torque to start due to my cars weight but after 50mph he had it lol.

duratec the newer svt's duratec topped at 200 hp compared to the other Lx GL runing 125 hp there nice cars though

Yep the 2000 svt's came stock with 200hp, I bought my 4 banging Lx a long time before I got my svt. lol
Believe it or not I paid more for my Lx then my SVT, poor guy didn't know what he was selling!
