So I watched this and figured it out note for note. lol, I was debating on putting it up as a video response but figured, nahhhh, I just feel that would be a douche bag thing to do. Though miss, I really enjoyed the phrasing, you've got the touch. I'd like to hear some jazz, or some funky country, roy buchananan style. You could tottaly pull it off.
Gave you a listen on several of your videos... You definitely have what it takes! You have "feeling" in your playing skills. MoJo comes from deep inside and is expressed outward through the instrument, or voice. You have the MoJo! Use it wisely!
@OleBlues Well yeah that's true. I heard in some media occasion Vince Gill saying that his first gear was a Gibson ES 335 and a fender amp(can't remember what). I mean your first guitar should be very good cause' it matters very much how much you develop as guitarist.
@OleBlues yeah. I studied at our local music institute guitar playng with this really amazing guitar teacher but my guitar suck and I couldn't get any good sound you know the sound wasn¨t inspiring(played with Ibanez that cost 120 euros lol) so I quit.
@peelopuu I would have to disagree. You won't be able to use the full potential of any really good gear for a good couple years after you start playing. Also, as your ear develops you will eventually decide what kind of sounds you want out of your gear. You have no idea what that sound will be when you're starting out and could end up hating that you spent so much money on this guitar you don't even like.
That said, if you're serious about music, your first guitar definitely needs to be solid.
@Muso992 LOL! In your first sentence you say that you disagree with me and yet in your final sentence you agree with me completely. That comment was pretty much pointless mate.
@peelopuu Well, you say you should get a 'very good' guitar as a first guitar. To me, 'very good' means, like, $1000+, very high quality and made by a reputable brand. By 'solid' I just meant 'not a piece of crap $50 guitar and amp pack'.
Reardless, you're right - that lass comment WAS pointless. So is this one. I don't think there's ever a point to youtube comments, lol.
Wow - So much feeling in every single note. I've been going back to basic myself to undo 25 years of bad playing habits and just trying to get the feeling back into playing ONE note. Very difficult to do, but you do it so well and so naturally...
Very nice Eilidh ! I've been playing for over 30 years and you sound as well seasoned as most players I know. Great touch and tone. You're a great player and not just because you're a girl. Just a great player. Keep up the great work and much success in your music.

@peelopuu I seen in another video she made she was using a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe........
OleBlues 7 months ago
@OleBlues Geez she's like 17 and she has Fender gear and those Boss pedals and tubescreamer and those aren't cheap! Good for her.

@peelopuu Any gear invested in her is money well spent. She is likely to have a great future in music and will make a very comfortable living........

@peelopuu Your right on the money neighbor. I teach guitar and tell my students to buy the best equipment they can afford. Especially amps.....

@OleBlues I think that that whole politics of "your first guitar must be cheap and bad before you get better" is rubbish.
