  • ha thats not the cheetah its the turtle pattern

  • haha i kno james he bowls at my old lane

  • Our plus/minus is based on a 200 game. so if you shoot 210, you are +10. The total plus/minus on the video is for the 6 games of qualifying. So his -33 means he averaged 194.5 for his 6 games.

  • Hey uh daveyamo when James has -33 wat does dat mean like is it his handicap or something?

  • charlie hairs form sucks

  • Actually it was a modified Cheetah that was placed over an incorrectly stripped lane- it played incredibly touchy and the usual friction outside of 3-4 was not there making the shot play even worse. Scoring was a direct reflection of the condition.

  • these jr bowlers dont even know how to play a cheetah pattern. 14th place is -173 and 1st place is -24!!!! come on the cheetah is the highest scoring pattern.

  • rydog their was a shot out their it was just constintley transitioning. i shot 250 playing up 5 with urethane and i killed it playing inside with reactive. most people didnt make the right moves so dont complain their wasnt a shot cuz you bowled like a donkey

  • as far as scorpion being easiest, everyone has their own opinion based on what they score on. But i can tell you that averages on scorpion are lower than others...not higher. Most people just like it better because they can play up 10 instead of learning how to bowl and adjusting.

  • really casue i never knew minus 20 was averaging 200 do we need to go back to 2to grade. i bowled next to booker and he was not hitting the pocket consistently he picked up his spares and averaged good.

  • Then obviously the shot wasn't impossible. And both Hefley and Booker were plus going into the last game. Sorry I didn't pay attention to full results.

All I remember is going into the last game that the top 3 were plus.

As far as going back to second grade is concerned, the same could be said about your spelling and grammar.

  • yourn not making no sense there is obviously a shot becasue a person can pick up spares????? maybe it got better as time went on casue the lanes broke down but as far as i know everyone was minus after 6 and i have never seen a jat tournamnet whre cut was minus

  • So what if cut was minus? There was obviously a shot out there, because somebody won. If there was NO shot out there, nobody would have won.

But since there was SOMETHING, no matter how hard or demanding it was, SOMEONE won.

  • wow no matter what someone has to win you are so stupid if someone shot 1 and everyone else shot 0 then someone would win wow you are dumb even if ther is no shot at all someone would win. you have no logic at all wow

  • And that means the guy that shot 1 found the shot better than anyone else.

like 2handhack said. Don't complain because you bowled bad. Learn from it and see who bowled good, then bowl better next time.

  • i know who Jeremy glover is. And just because he had a 130 game doesn't mean anything. If the shot was at the headpin with plastic, then why didn't you or someone else do that?

also, other than the chameleon at bowlium and the cheetah at west covina, every JAT this year and 90-95% of JATs in the past have been on house shots.

  • people did start throwing plastic and i shot 190 180 with it

  • @rydog12

Then why isn't anyone in this video throwing plastic? Only people that missed cut knew how to play the "best line"?

I bet everyone in this video and everyone who cashed wish they had been smart enough to throw plastic and miss cut like you.

  • the people who made cut were the people who could hit the head pin without splitting and picking up there spares. no one during qualifying had a consistent line to the pocket. obviously you did not bowl

  • you are so dumb who would start a whole tournament throwing plastic at the head pin. if you really expect anyone to do that then you are an idiot. you just ignorant becasue you think you are right please tell me what the shot was. i would love to know cause it wasnt outside or inside or anywhere else so please tell me what the shot was

  • The shot was obviously where the winner played it. Look where Hefley and Booker played it all day.

Just because you couldn't hit it from inside doesn't mean it wasn't there. It means you weren't good enough.

DeeRonn and James both averaged over 200 through qualifying playing inside.

  • And how do you know I didn't bowl? Just because I'm not bitching about the shot? Obviously if I bowled, I would have been complaining, right? Because it was impossible?

  • @rydog12

You know the shot's stupid when people get on the video and bitch about the shot because they didn't make cut. There's always a shot out there. Someone has to win, and it's gonna be the guy with the best look.

  • yeah there was totally a shot out there when cut was 170 and no one averaged 200 for the tournament and all of the people average 210 on a normall shot but yeah there was a shot out there because you say so

  • There wasn't a shot there because I said so. There was a shot there because someone won. If somebody won, obviously somebody had a line to the pocket.

And actually, I'm reasonably sure that DeeRonn Booker averaged 200 for the tournament.

What do you define as a "normal shot"? Because if house shot is "normal" in your dictionary, then I understand why you think there was no line to the pocket.

  • well lets see we bowl on some very hard patterns at jat and people average 220 every tournament jeremy glover shot 130 and a believe he averaged 230 at a tournament on viper for 30 games and he shot 130 at this tournament and he is one of the best jr bowlers in the nation

  • and i am pretty sure scorpionis the easiest pattern

  • for what its worth I am interested that I didn't see anyone playing outside 5... usually where Cheetah plays best... there is no line from in where most were

  • it would have played more like cheetah if half the feild wasnt playing third arrow to start the tournament thats why it broke down so weird

  • The idea of playing shots, is that you want everybody to be in the same area of the lane. If everyone is playing in different parts of the lane, It's going to break down horrible. Trying to swing a short pattern prior to breakdown, is suicide.

  • you know the shot is stupid when half of the open bowlers get so mad that they throw plastic at the headpin the last 2 games

  • this was not even close to being the cheetah pattern

  • @rydog12 Well, it might have been. The only reason it didn't play like the Cheetah you're used to seeing, is cause it was probably the new one. Combined with the type of lane machine, conditioner, and lane surface, it resulted in what was bowled on in this video.

  • Yeah i guess i am not arguing but it is hard to believe that i average about 200 on that pattern and i really think the best shot was with plastic at the head pin.

  • I get what you mean. It's just that you have to realize there is always a shot. No matter how impossible the shot seems.

  • i think there was a shot deep but i think cause they said it was cheetah everyone jumped outside and that was not it at all

  • @rydog12 What I want to know, is why you wouldn't play Cheetah from out. Serious shit, dude. The dumbest thing you could do on the Cheetah, is start trying to open up the lane all early. It causes shitty breakdown, and transition.

  • i agree completely. the cheetah, if you miss inside of 5 the ball will cross every single time.
