I remember when I used to "DIY" customise my blades xD I put like 4 weight disks and took away the attack ring (not much use at that height) and when made correctly because of the sheer momentum gained by spinning that at full speed, undisturbed it would spin for 5 minutes ^^, back in the basic system days I'm sure that must have set records lol

Yea, the red switch on the left is a good tip too, plus the fact that the explanation of how this works in the description says the the red plate is spinning. Aaaaand that anyone who remembers this stadium or the simular one used in the original beyblade world tournament knows about the spinning plate. The effect doesn't always make blades spin forever, in fact it usually throws them off balance.

No problem, a lot of people have pointed out that this is easily understood because of the spinning red plate, however that is only half of it. The spinning plate typically acts as a disruption to tops spinning onto of it because of centrifugal force, what's shown in this video only occurs when the tops tip is perfectly sized to fit within the tiny groove around the spinning plate within the stationary stadium.

As such, the groove balances the top to be spun by friction.

Close, it IS the preformance tip of the beyblade, but what happens is its just perfectly sized that the performance tip falls into the small gap between the rotating red plate and the rest of the stadium, then the rotation of the red plate causes the beyblade to spin faster in its clockwise motion while rolling against the blue portion and propelling it around in a circle faster.

Every so often it builds up too much speed and bursts out of the grove, but goes back in.

Im glad you pointed out that the spinning plate typically makes the bey spin for less time though, thats important to appreciate this phenomenon. However i assure you it's perfectly legitimate footage. Try it if you dont believe.

@rprshadow If it was cgi quality there would be no after image. The reason it stops so often is because it reaches peak speed, it can not go any faster than peak speed, so it drops off every time, the reson it drops off in the same spot is because peak speed takes the same amount of time to get to consistently. Also at the end it stops more frequently, showing that it probably only lasted about 5 more minutes, but then again, I could be wrong, it is certainly a phenomena.
