Not only did Obama not close Guantanamo, in December 2010 by Presidential Directive (which has force of law), he suspended the right of habeus corpus for any person the goverenment designated as a terrorist. Unfortuantely, there is no definition of what the word "terrorist" means in the directive.
This is probably one of the few matters I disagree with Obama on, but overall he's stopped the internal bleeding of the financial crisis/ 2007 recession and has made an effort to create jobs and aid the unemployed who need the help. Overall, I'd say regardless of this one matter that Obama is a good president.

But it does tells us that he was not afraid to to speak his opinion. At the time, the war was a very 'popular' thing so going against it would have been political suicide, so to speak. I believe it shows that Obama is not afraid to speak his mind.
