If you access the beach from Big Lagoon to the north, there is no entrance fee. If you access it from the south, at Patrick's Point State Park, there is an entrance fee. Other than that, there is no fee.
Great agates are found all over that beach, from the south end (Patrick's Point), all the way to the north end at Dry Lagoon. Awesome place for beachcombing and rockhounding, along with beautiful scenery and wildlife.

this may be "agate" beach, however, as a local i look for agates at Dry Lagoon Beach--where some actually exist!!
