  • I love Pesci, I love De Niro, I love Goodfellas, and I love Raging Bull. Oh, and Scorsese, love you Marty.

  • I love Joe Pesci so so much XD

  • Robert De Niro is definitely better than Al Pacino is

  • @92af I agree 100 %

  • WRAPITAROUNDJAHANDHAMANYTIMESIGOTATELLYA

  • DeNiro isnt just playing as Jake LaMotta, he fuckin is Jake LaMotta

  • Scary. Just plain scary. DeNiro's portrayal of Lamotta was an acting miracle, up there with anything Brando ever did.

  • People calm down it was a great movie but he didnt like it so get over it. i sometimes just skip to the boxing scenes myself but i still like the movie. what got me though along with any spielberg film taking place in that time period is the atmosphere ather than the movie itself

  • how many times i gotta tell you

    not too many more

    priceless!!

  • "You throw a punch like you take it up the ass" Haha....Bet he wouldn't have said that to him in Goodfellas! :)

  • 1:33 and 1:47. spot the difference.

  • @f00tballfever The cuts on his forehead are gone.

  • Robert DeNiro was in a zone in this movie.

  • you didnt' like the movie maybe you were watching meet the spartans by accident

  • :24 you can tell Pesci is trying to hold in his laugh.

  • @lordsahasrala88 yeah but it's all in the character. Pesci is not holding in the laugh himself so much as the character is. I don't wanna sound gay about it but Pesci has great acting instincts, he's a very underrated actor.

  • that scene was all improv , amazing acting

  • "you throw a punch like ya take it up the ass".....

    Fcking classic line

  • That first punch after Pesci took the towel off, sounded like it hurt.

  • i don't care if you get mad i ain't doin it

  • on the waterfront is a classic , even without all the sex and profanity like in this movie and most scorsese movies if you read the book by jake he gives an honest story of what a dirtbag he was

  • "what am i gonna hit you with, table?" hahahaha

  • who is the other guy with deniro?

    is that my cousin vinni?

  • one of my favorite movies of all time, Hard to believe that people didn't enjoy it but hey to each his own

  • shut the hell up, this movie was amazing and scorsese is mastermind

  • you didn't like this film? that's such a shame. it's an incredible film

  • It was interesting enough for me to finish and all, but the character just doesn't resonate with me the way a boxer like, say, Joe Louis or Jack Johnson or Muhammad Ali would. The issues were domestic and personal and I didn't really feel moved by any of it.

  • I didn't like this film that much either. But I am a huge Bobby D fan. Deer Hunter and Heat are better

  • It wasn't about the boxer more then it was a man on the road to self-destruction.

  • And said man was a boxer. That doesn't mean it focused on the sport of boxing, but it was undeniably about a boxer.

  • Its all good man, but i think its just he would win fights but the only one he couldnt win was the fight of his life.

  • @l3loodfist same here man i dont know why everyone is so crazy about it

  • @l3loodfist But you can't relate everything in a movie to how someone in real-life resonates with you - it's completely against the point of watching a movie. It's a different world...when you buy that movie ticket, rent that DVD on Netflix, you agree to let yourself be removed, and enter the world that the film represents. If you weren't moved, than you weren't moved. Nothing can change that, but relating to something in real-life, is pointless indeed.

  • @l3loodfist it's a tough flick to come around to. i hear you.

  • @THESWINES i dont like you. does that count.

  • I heard Pesci was really hitting him there being that De Niro is a psycho method actor.

  • Doubt it, Robert wudda killed him. lol

  • hmmm, deniro is brilliant

  • LaMotta was good fighter- but totally fucked in the head -

  • did you fuck my wife.

  • Whatever helps you sleep at night.

  • 13loodfist, if you don't like this movie then you most not understand it or understand what Raging Bull means. you are obviously inept to understanding movies if you don't think this is a great movie

  • I agree.

  • I think you're the retard for not understanding that people can have different opinions. People can understand movies and still not like them.

  • Are you trying to tell me you didn't like this movie? Because saying Raging Bull is not a good movie is like saying the earth is flat. Or like saying the Detroit Lions are a good football team. Raging Bull is a great movie. It's a FACT

  • No, I did not like the movie. Objectively it is a quality film with a thoughtful script. I simply did not like the movie and I do not find LaMotta an interesting boxer. Fact.

  • "Objectively it is a quality film"

How the hell can reviewing art ever be objective?

  • @taxmonkey123 That logic doesn't make sense. The Mona Lisa is objectively a work of talent. There are immutable qualities to it that are recognized as "good" - the subtlety of the shading, the likeness of resembling a human being, the detail, etc. It is up to personal opinion whether these add up in summation to being an aesthetic pleasure for the individual. Raging Bull has good acting, an accurate depiction to its source material, and groundbreaking cinematography. I just didn't like it.

  • "You throw a punch like you take it up the ass." lol! Deniro is ftw.

  • omg i have to see this movie

  • one of the best movies ever

  • this is funny

  • Nope. I don't find LaMotta an interesting person.

  • you.... didnt like the movie?

  • Ha Ha Fuck Off you piece of evolutionary garbage-HAPPY HOLIDAYS

  • I like Pacino, Dog Day Afternoon was Brilliant,Brilliant,BUT BUT, De Niro is far and away the greatest film actor ever, he even puts Brando to shame. That's saying alot. The thing about De Niro, is from 1972 thru 1980 he racked up one Brilliant performance after another. That sealed the deal.Meanstreets,Bang The Drum Slowly,The Godfather 2,Taxi Driver, The Deer Hunter Raging Bull, ALL brilliant. One thing I will say is De Niro plays himself. But,He does it BRILLIANTLY.Best Film Actor Ever.

  • ur fuckin stupid

    serhathoca

  • Jacknife gotta be in the list.

  • @hardnessofthisworld He puts Brando to shame....hmmm I really doubt that. De Niro's great but he's no Brando.

  • @jungleballs13 I'm sorry but Brando could never do what De Niro did in Raging Bull. I mean,Brando is a legend, the greatest actor of his generation, but De Niro is much more versatile, intense, and precise in his performances.I guess you can't really compare them because they've done different kinds of movies, but De Niro is better in my opinion.

  • woah 6,666 views =X

  • "Wrap it around ya hand !!"

  • hahah so funny

  • my favourite movie of all time

  • Er, no. Bobby nailed it perfectly. I really don't think Pacino could have done a better job. And this is coming from somebody who's favorite actor is Pacino.

  • The Look. That whole scene comes down to the look. That was DeNiro in his heyday. He was so far ahead of everyone, it wasn't even close...

  • i love the look he gives him at the end, fucking definition of how great an actor Bobby D is and Joe Pesci.

  • This whole MOVIE is brillant!
