@tecy no, SimpleIPN don't do that. Only files on the same server where SimpleIPN is...

I put everything in the same folder as instructed. Updated the settings.. and then after it sends me to PayPal and takes a payment (in the sandbox), it gives me a download as it should. But, when going to that link it says:  Purchase Details Not Found. Contact Administrator.

Any idea? Thanks!

@GuitarJammer28 i think the purchase info file is not created. do check if you have writable permission for that folder. even a 666 permission is enough.

@bljdavidson you can use your FTP application. Normally you can right click on a file or folder and look for Permission or Attributes or Attrib or CHMOD. When you have that, make sure you check all Write option.

Thank you so much because now I have at least a decent understanding of how paypal ipn works. Your script looks great and I have had a pretty easy time editing it. Only problem is that it only supports one product with multiple downloads. I need to make it support multiple products with multiple downloads as well. Is it possible to modify the files you gave us?

@ogsmoka - with the current method, yes, it only supports a single product (with multiple files). the idea is to keep this simple. to make it work with multiple products, it will takeaway the simplicity of it.

that normally means that the script failed to create purchase info file. check permission settings...

Shouldn't it be a "=" after ?dl. If it has somthing to do with permissions, where do u check that?

I have installed and made the required changes.

I manage to do the transaction and the download page is displayed.

When I click on the download link the following is displayed:-

Purchase details not found contact Administrator.

The details are displayed on the download page.

Any ideas what is the problem?
