Steve smith is more a victim of shit fans than being a shit cricketer. This bloke has talent but the media and fans have been far too harsh on him. That said, he debuted far too early. They should have held him back in state cricket for another 2 years. The premature debut is going to cost him 2 years minimum to work himself back into the test side. Let's hope he doesn't get lost to test cricket. If he goes back and do what he's good at, he'll be fine.
@SportsCurry, leggies get a lot of wickets with what look like bad shots. A cut shot to a short ball that bounces a bit more than expected is not a bad shot, it's natural variation that you get from being a wrist spinner. Think how many times you've seen wrist spinners take wickets with what look like rank long hops, that's what's great about them.
I need leg breaks equipped for the summer of 2011 - right now, I am in school but in the summer vacation, I want to rip apart the batsmen of my enemy team. A replay would be very much appereciated. Hard to see the leg break happen because no slow motion.
@someblokecalleddave1 I'm from WA so i have seen him play a bit, the main reason i can see why he got picked is his height.
He's about 185cm just about the tallest spinner playing state cricket in Aus, and the recent history of the WACA pitch is the taller the spinner the better they do due to the bounce.
Suileman Benn who is around 200cm did really well last summer at the WACA as did Paul Harris of SA the year before he is also around 190cm.

All reports are it going to be a green top with plenty of bounce for the quicks on both side's. If we bat like we did in the 2nd test, and you guys play as well as you did, then i think you guys will have your first ashes series win in Aus in a while...
