Nice! I've also been trying to work out a different fire whip style, as I find the traditional style, which seems to be basically just cracking over and over, to be kind of boring.
My style thusfar has been mostly tech, trying to apply moves from other props to whip. I've learned several body/arm/leg wraps, isolations, tosses, and a couple basic contact staff moves. Your style seems to focus more on dance and rhythmic movement, which is definitely not my strong suit.
unfortunately there is not half assing it, you gotta go get yourself a set of whips (preferrably nylon to start practicing with) in order to get the feel of this prop. i foolishly bought the kevlar whips first, but am having to work a balance between practicing alot, and not wanting to wear the whips out.
but once you have a set i would reccomend adam winrich's instructional videos on you tube. excellent pool of knowledge there.
