Thanks for speaking out. Problems and tragedies should make us have a look at real solutions and not making us exercise all kinds of excuses and forms of escapism and denial just to feel better about ourselves. Common sense stuff.
I agree we should do more to help those who are troubled rather than "Prayer" if God wasn't such a damn piece of crap then we would have the starving being helped, but nope helping serial killers and getting people rich is more important than helping those who need it yeah today's education is years behind.

A little long winded, but to state the obvious, you are correct: prayers do not work. Why? Because NO ONE IS LISTENING! The real mystery to me is why so many people think prayers do work. Part of the answer is the fact that children are indoctrinated from day one, but still, you would think a greater percentage of them would eventually wake up. They don't!

My cousin has had mental health issues but thank goodness she found help on her own without having to rely on the State (my tax money) to fund her recovery. The last time mankind highly funded "mental health issues" we wound up with Gulags. Which of course, exaccerbates the problem. Great tyranny often comes when the State attempts to save people from themselves. There is no example of a State decreasing the rate of negative MH issues by throwing taxpayer's money at it. Funny thing is I did my taxes tonight and my federal tax was $3,000 and my state was $1,100 ... awful weird that State Tax is so high and then they cut these programs. Oh thats right that fuck Bob McDonnell (our governor) was supposed to be a big job creator. Hahaha glad I just live off inherited money than to live in this mess!

There are barriers to entry for some investments due to the level of capital. I suggest single tenant net leased bank occupied commercial real estate or 100+ unit apartment buildings. Investments your manager controls.
I could not agree more. Real solutions and not this pipe dream nonsense. I get real annoyed when I hear this kind of nonsense. As far as mental health issues, this is also the case here in Virginia. They cut the budget and closed the state pharmacy services for clinics, so now if you cannot get patient assistance program help, which some vendors have is the only way to get medicine. They also do not provide anything in the way of other medicines.. very sad really.
