  • The complete set is available at amazon -- I have it -- they are not the originals re-issued by Columbia but dvd set taken from the vhs copies -- they are pretty good -- not great but good - and you have them all together --- I wrote a review on Amazon look under l'escribe for more.

I had originally taped all of them on vhs many years ago, some broke so it is good to have them all on dvd. Terrific comedies. Lake and Singleton ARE Blondie and Dagwood.

  • I would buy the whole series of these movies, If I could find them... they were the best adaptation of a newspaper strip ever done

  • Ha I remember the days before spary bottles...I mean I watched my grandma. Back then you had to dampend the clothes and roll them up to distribute the moisture. Then they were ready to iron. Fun.

  • I remember watching this Blondie tv series when I was a kid (in the 60's). I loved it. Cool seeing it again. Didn't know she was the voice of Jane Jetson also. It does sound like her voice.

  • ahh, the voice of Jane Jetson....

  • This is the Blondie that I used to watch in syndication in the 80's. The one with Mr. Howell was crap.

  • @marioTmaggot Me too.

  • Blondie was Jane Jetson????

    I never knew that.

    Incredible... Bumsteadable!

  • Daisy has a burnt tongue

  • Where can you find these movies?

  • @Sheri451 I got mine through Barnes N Noble...but check online like amazon...I only have vol. 1 which hads the first ten episodes...Not sure if Vol 2 came out yet.

  • Happy belated 108th birthday Chic Young!

  • jane jetson!

  • Yup, Jane was voiced by Penny Singleton all the way to the late 80's. You can definitely hear it with her as Blondie here. That's strange she always had a talent for bringing cartoon characters to life.

  • WHOAH!!! I grew up with this and didn't even know that was the voice behind Jane Jetson! UNREAL!

  • Television in 1938?

  • mindspring: like duh, that is a movie, stupid.

  • Actually Blondie was a movie series. Originally produced by Columbia Studios, and later bought by King Features and re-edited for TV.
