i personally don't think these games tap into the true nature of the bible. i mean, wouldn't it be awesome to lay the smackdown on canaan in a video game based around Joshua? or how about David's conquests? those two would make good Christian games whereas mosts other stories would make facinating shows or movies.

You know, a bible based game doesn't have to be bad, even though they uniformly are. From the Old Testament and of course Revelation the Bible has plenty of brutal scenarios that would make GTA or Postal blush.
