  • I really want to try this cleanse but need some clarification first.

    I understand that it can be challenging for your body without protein and will therefore like to know whether shorter periods are more suitable for people who:

    - are vegetarian,

    - eat only fish and or plant protein or

    - generally eat small portions versus overeating, let alone overeating protein.

    Should such people reduce the number of lemonade diet days?

  • why do the salt water flush? what does that do? is that part of the Master Cleanse?

  • Please be VERY CAREFUL with the salt flush. I did it yesterday, day 4 of my lemonade diet. One hour after drinking 2/3 of the quart of water, I projectile vomited the water back up, followed by a LOT of BLOOD. Was taken to hospital where an ER nurse told me that warm salt water used to be recommended to induce vomiting. Not any more b/c it's too DANGEROUS. Throws electrolytes out of whack. Please be careful!!!

  • Your Milage May Vary. Google Fasting and read about it. Some people start slow, 3-5 days, say, stop or take a break, and go further. The first three days are the hardest, then it gets easy. This is not a recommendation and any experience you have is your own responsibility.
