But of course the 450 in the GS 450h name implies that the combined performance of the 3.5l and the electromotor is approximately a 4.5l, i.e. a "V9" territory (considering the standard of about 0.5 liter per cylinder). The COMBINATION of the acceleration, comfort and fuel consumption is AMAZING, not just a single of those parameters. E.g. go-karts are bloody fast in corners. Comfort, space?
Hi, the current price is about CZK 31 per liter. The US gallon is about 3.78 l and the USD is about 15.984 CZK. So, we pay USD 7.33 per gallon. Add to that the car prices, which are roughly TWO times the US prices here, and the much lower average income here and you get the picture. A car is a MAJOR money consuming thing around these parts. And I don't even mention the UK, where gas prices are the highest in Europe. That's what you get for living on an island. :-) I am from the Czech Republic...

If you really wanted to believe it, the Lexus would have more soul that the others because they have strived for perfection and pretty much acheived it in 17 yeas. That takes dedication and hard work. Whereas your Mercedes has been around for over 100 years yet can't make the Lexus for build quality, features and price, amongst other things. Hi guys, I just did 254.5 kph (158.1 mph) in my 1994 "unrestricted" LS400. That car has just 180 kW/245 hp. Normally, that particular year is restricted to 155 mph in the European version (150 mph in the American). I am talking REAL speed, not speedometer speed. The speedo showed 260 kph (161.5 mph). The speedo currently (with current tyre pressure/wear) shows 2.148 % more than it actually goes.
My car has 180 kW/245 hp and 353 Nm. The torque figure corresponds to the US version (260 lb-ft), but the power is lower (the US version had 253.5 PS/250 bhp/186.4 kW). I have the European market model (also made in Japan). Lexus is obviously without competition. Only prestige whores buy other brands (more expensive/lower quality/similar features).

thats not accurate at all. it looks way to slow from 100 to 120. i go from 80 to 130 on the freeway in less than 10 or 15 seconds

The top speed of this car is probably over 160Mph but it is limited to 155Mph

because "sole" gives you a certain feeling when you drive or ride it. I had a LS400 and although a very capable car it feels nothing like my Merc.
Its like riding a Harley Davidson then Riding a a Jap copy Harley. Probably more capable but it has no sole
