Honestly, you might as well get the Montero instead of the Montero Sport because it offers a lot more standard features for the extra $4,000-$5,000 and trust me its worth it! Has a 3rd row seat that dissapears, bigger moonroof, more horsepower, better interior quality and has standard 4x4. I have a 2002 Montero XLS and love it! Very spacious!

I had a black 2006 Mitsubishi Montero Sport just like the one in the video with the difference that mine had fog lights. It runned incredibly and the engine sound was great. The only problems it had was that it was very unstable, had high fuel consumption and was very heavy. So heavy that when in rough terrain it got stuck and to get it out was a real pandemonium.

Ahhh... the memories, we had a 2000 Montero Sport, only it was gold and had tan leather seats, it made a great family car for two kids plus it's very reliable.

@firealarm719 It was a great car for our family too, although after putting over 120,000 miles on my 2001 montero sport, the tranmission blew out, making it a $4,000 repair bill. But we had some good times in our suv :)

@talldude123 from my experience they are even worse than toyota, i have a mitsu and the seat belts don't go back right, interior is falling apart, front and rear suspension is shot, power steering is stiff, the clutch slips, gas pedal sticks, eats tires and brakes like a son of a bitch, and now the motor is starting to act up. i want rid of it, looks like an eye sore next to my sentra. THANK GOD IT STILL RUNS AND DRIVES!
