  • " Beutiful girls , all over the world, that i could be chasing , but my time would be wasting" love the song instrumental

  • Cubes & Curtain :D

  • how many grids were in the box

  • hom much do the cable ties cost if you buy them at home depot

  • this is an amazing idea coroplast is so expensive

  • @cavylova891011 Can i make this cage for my hamster?

  • I was thinking of using shower curtain until I am able to buy correx, coroplast whatever it is called :)

  • is this ok with a rabbit?

  • @TheHabboween i mean the floor....

  • @mypiggieluvsme about 17 or less. Cavylova moved to china so she can't reply.

  • Great info! Thanx;)

  • It's beautiful!

  • How many grids come in a pack?

  • Lol I did the same thing but I used a "twister" game mat instead of a shower curtain

  • Awesome video - I am going to build a c&c cag for my guinea pig soon too :)

  • I want a C&C cage so bad! My guinea pigs would love it soooo much!

  • @bxdii77 target, walmart, bed bath and beyond. lets say $20 for grids. $1 for shower curtain $5 for cable ties. 26 dollars. all this is in the video. please watch it before asking me. Also, this is just the cage. be aware that the bedding, toys, and MANY other supplies will just add on to your expenses if you decide to adopt a guinea pigs :)

  • That was simple I think I will do the same kinda setup

  • @Haxous1 feel free!

  • Even better: Mattress protecter!

  • so the wee wont sink through into the carpet? anyway great idea with the shower curtain.

  • @gpiggers with the fleece and the bedding and towels or newspapers, there really shouldn't be any touching the shower curtain in the first place but shower curtains were built to keep liquids IN. the wee can not sink through. thank you!

  • does the shower curtain really work for you?

  • @gpiggers yeah it really works! it's cheap and holds up well but you need to change it every 6 months or so

  • @Smiley3591 storage cubes. yupp lol if you ask a salesperson for c&c cage supplies they'll have no idea what you're talking about XD

  • thank you so much! this really really helped! thanks c:

  • @shwatislove gald to help :)

  • This is great, since i cant find chloroplast anywere where i live!! Thx it helped.

  • @GuineaPigGuru10111 your welcome!

  • I did this with plexiglass and a shower curtian, but I couldn't find the storage cubes so I bought two of the wire shelfs you use in a closet and put chicken wire on the short side of the cage (the wieth) and it works awesome! I only have one female guinea pig, and her cage is a 3x2 cage with a 1x1 kitchen area above the 3x2 with a ramp. I'm sorry if I didn't spell everything write i'm only 11.. :)

  • @joscie82481 sounds awsome! nice idea! must have took a while :) i'd love to see your cage. and i don't judge people by their age ;)

  • At last i have found a place where they sell storage cubes.

but they only sell 24 in a box,and i only want one box as they are quite expensive.

will i be able to make a sutible cage for my rabbit out of this, its just that my old cage was only about 2ft in lenght,i want one a little bigger

And i only have 24 cubes

  • @fakechineasephones if you make a cage for a rabbit, you need one at least 2 grids high so the bunny won't jump out. if you make a 2x4 grid cage 2 grids high, that's just enough grids to cover it all, no extra. that should be fine. how big is your rabbit?

  • I have a mini rex its nearly a year old its not that big at all

he can stretch high so i think i will have to do 2 grids high

like in your video you can close the storage cubes so they all fold away for more space,(i need to do that)

but if i do what you said 2x4,then will everything still be foldable?

    thanks

  • @fakechineasephones than that's a fine size! yes 2 grids is definantly recommended for a rabbit. no matter what dwarf or mini breed he/she is :)

yes it should but you won't be able to fold the top down otherwise it will be collapsing all the time. but yes, you can still fold it up somewhat ;)

  • will it be possible that you can make a video showing how to do the second level or could you like tell me how to do it.

  • @fakechineasephones well, you make the base of the 2nd level just like how you did the first except you now have to add grids covering the bottom so it's not empty space underneath. you attach it to the first level with connecters, cable ties, binder clips, or anything else sturdy but not impossible to undo. then you add the shower curtain just like you did the first level and layer the second level with plastic, towels, fleece, or anything else that you use for bedding. like a mini cage on top

  • Thanks very very much

    you helped a lot

and help me save lots of money on buying a propper cage.

  • @fakechineasephones don't get me wrong! this is still an appropriate cage for guinea pigs. just a cheaper renovised way that is just as useful! :)

  • Thats such a good idea

will it work as a second floor as well?

    thanks

  • @fakechineasephones thank you! and it should work with second floors too but you still need grids to support it :)

  • @xPLAYERx66 wood will get moldy fast . and even with towels and newspaper and everything, cardboard tears easily and it will leak through a bit

  • @xPLAYERx66 that's not a good idea. It will get soggy immediatly and smelly and the whole base will fall apart and the wet cardboard would be a nightmare to clean up!

  • The shower curtain is such a good idea! In the uk cloroplast is hard to find and if you do find it its quite expensive. :/

  • @ilovemygpiggies yes it is. that's why i made this video :)

  • :D haha! Well if ppl read my comment then theyll know :P so how r the piggies? Oh how could i convince my parents to let me adopt another hammy since my other passed away?

  • @GuineaPigHelpGuide My piggies are great! haha. the usual.. show them you're responsible and show how well you take care of all your other animals :) sorry for your loss.

  • UR NOT BUILDING A C&C CAGE!! UR BUILDING A C&S CAGE :P

  • @GuineaPigHelpGuide XD yeah well, no one knows what a C&S cage is so i might as well still just call it a c&c cage :)

  • Wow, I was planning on buying a cage, but that was so helpful!

    Thanks you so much!!

  • @meyouandthepiggies your welcome! always glad to help :)

  • why's u change the cage back to a 2x2?

  • @thespoiledpets i didn't! ?????????

  • thanks it was very helpfull since I cant get cloraplast :) so did you make a second level

  • @guineapiglover7799 glad i helped! and no i don't think i'll be making a second level

  • @GuineaPigzies actually, this IS there new cage for about a month now :)

  • Great idea!

  • @bimomok thanks :)

  • did you record this a while ago that cage is only 2x2 per pig

  • @UKCavies yeah. i just never got around to editing it

  • Don't worry, your not the only one who has expensive coroplast. For a 4x8 sheet, it cost me about $45 total! I feel like I get ripped off, finding out that other people get it so much cheaper. ):

  • @horseluver9511 SAME!! that's why i get shower curtains :)

  • damn i got my chloroplast for 30$ nd it was like 3x8 ft. online is actually cheaper. btw that website you showed us actually had a section that people post on to tell u where to buy your c&c cage supplies in your state

  • @kenz1031 yeah, i figured that out that online IS cheaper but i'd already discovered the shower curtain and i was in luv :) it's easy to transport the cage too since i move alot

  • Good video! [:

    Really good idea! Haha

  • @GuineaPigzies Yes it should have it, But I only have Laptops :((((((((

  • @GuineaPigzies Oh it didn't work because My laptop doesn't have the extra number thing :(

  • @GuineaPigzies How did You make those smiley faces?

  • THANKS alot now ill stop and again THANKS

  • @123abcjorge sure!
