@CeeGee103 oh yes definitely, it might be cute too if you have a patent leather skinny belt the put over the cardigan to taper it closer to the waist..if not the whole looks sounds very nice :)

All tenagers here wear cardigans so I tend to not use them very much and go for a blazer instead to be different :)
