Im so Fucking mad i bought this and first i was trying to put it together for almost a hour. Then when i finally get it together i put it on my door, and try to do a pull up to test it and i bust my ass. So now i dont know how im going to do P90X without a pull up bar.

I use one of these, you can do everything with this as the simple one but with this one you get the extra grip positions. I recommend it.

I live in a small apartment so all my doors with frames are in a very tight corner. From inner frame to inner frame (my bedroom) is 30 inches and from the wall to wall is 38 inches. would this product fit?

if I want to do a lot of pull-ups (long series), I just keep the legs on the ground, then I weight less so I can do more repetitions. If we are still too heavy we can lightly push our body by legs;)

Does anybody know if you have to do any drilling for this thing? I'm sure you do, but they said that this is a perfect pull up bar for a dorm. They should know that dorms don't allow drilling, and I might have to live on dorms again next year...... Any help?

@p90xNick There's no drilling at all. You just assemble the bar and hang it in a doorway. It uses leverage to support your bodyweight.

I bought this same doorway pull up bar and my door frames in my house are too wide, kind of frustrating so if your are looking to buy one you should definitely measure your door way moldings and wall width.

the reason it looks like its bending is because of the padding where the bar meets the door frame, its very squishy so when pressure is applied it moves like the metal is bending but it isnt, it just protects the door frame from denting or other damages
