(I think most of us are quite hesitant to see most any given belief system or religion as being 100% evil. Thing is, if you know something is right or wrong (and from a Christian standpoint, everyone who has all pistons firing in their minds, etc. really does know right from wrong), then if you go against what you know is right, and do something that is wrong (say, rape or torture?), it isn't right NO MATTER WHAT ONE BELIEVES.) It really is that simple.

if any kind of paganism from any culture involves practices which are immoral and lead people away from God, rather than toward him (and I do mean the sorts of practices that are much more every-day behaviors, rather than anything especially theological/intellectual), if the practice of paganism draws one closer to the carnal mind, etc., than yes, it is evil. Ultimately, it comes down to specific acts committed, rather than having a certain system of beliefs, that is most morally relevant.

That being said, I know exactly why so many people are drawn to paganism, especially if they are into history, Celtic festivals, etc., that kind of stuff. Plus, most of christianity is saturated with hypocrisy anyway, generally coming from leadership of many large religions. Even more reason to go back to your "roots" so to speak. However, if you're a Mormon, like I am, there is no need for this stuff, no conflict really. We all love European history, etc. But paganism?

In some respects, I have mixed feelings about these folks, some unresolved thoughts, etc. Some of this has to do with how I relate to pagans, and I've only known a few of them, really. In other respects, I think I have a pretty good idea of what is really going on with pagans at the spiritual level.
