That was amazing! I have been a H/Hr shipper since around the third book. Seeing them in HBP comforting eachother just made me believe that little bit more. It was the Dance scene in DH part 1 that made me realise that there was something there that JK Rowling didn't see. I love them as a couple, and I love this song. i think if you read the books carefully,as ginny's attraction to harry becomes less pronounced,her character basically fades out of the story.shes mentioned occasionally,but only in passing. but Harry's crush on ginny is adorable to watch grow.& evn tho g&h wasnt strongly suggested for most of the series, Ron&Hermione was always a pretty open option.reading into ron's temper and odd actions towrd hermoine,i think anH&H relationship would hav ruind the great friendship harry has with them both

i personally thought that hermione and ron stood a chance from the first film. I don't know why but i did. ginny was a big fan of harry from the start but when harry saved her from tom riddle i thought the way she looked at him was like she like liked him. i think JK made a good desicion paring them up like she did. thats just my personal opinion :)

The way I felt is that Ginny wouldnt end up being part of the story at all. I always knew that Ron and Hermione would end up together. Beacuse the way they were always nipping at eachother. But i figured Harry would end up with (dont laugh) eather Luna or the asian girl I never bothered to remember. But i like the way J.K. Rowling threw Ginny into the story as kind of a twist. I thought it showed the way your feelings can change about someone the more time you spend with them.

I'm sorry to all the GW/HP Shippers out there, but up until the 6th book there was absolutely no evidence for Harry's romantic feelings towards Ginny. Now i know there was evidence towards Ginny's infatuation, but as an aspiring author myself i saw as tonne of evidence hinting towards Harry and Hermione's feelings towards each other and i personally think J.K. Rowling broke one of the fundamental unwritten laws of writting eithics with Half Blood Prince and beyond: Do not sell out your audience

no, there was obvious foreshadowing for the both the romances between Hermione and Ron as well as Harry and Ginny. What you were interpreting as foreshadowing was probably how Jo was showing the sibling like love between Harry and Hermione which I thought was done very realistically. I shall agree with one aspect, there is evidence for Ron/Hermione. Indisputable. Yet there is no way foreshadowing between Harry/Ginny until HBP. Throughout all of the five books leading up to HBP there is absolutely no evidence for a romantic attraction between Harry/Ginny. Allow me to explain. Where through out any of the first five books does Harry display sort of emotion towards Ginny other then annoyance and a sense of concern for her when she is taken into the Chamber? ... He doesnt.

HBP was my favorite only beacause of Ginny being his bestfriends sister 7&not the way Ginny moved around Harry. Wish Hermione was Ron's sister 7 that Giny just became the Smart friend. And so the only real pairing for Hermione was with Ron, which had the trio all tied up in a nice little family package. Harry and Hermione was a much stronger, far more believable relationship. Heck, even Harry and Luna was a much more realistic pairing than Harry and Ginny!
