I like this game its pretty fun to play but none of my friends like it though they like street fighter and soul calibur which i both have their all great they just never really played mortal kombat when we were 9 unlike me i was ripping spines out when i was 9 lol

If they follow the art style/3D graphics (and more real world physics) of SF4, then they can keep making games...SF4 has set the bar awfully high...Im sure SNK Playmore has already started development ideas...and we benefit from it!!! Lets go CvS3!!!

Ok I have been a fan of MK since day 1 and sorry to say was turned off by Ultimate MK3, I've always been a fan of the fatalities and such and I'll take a look at this one if I ever get the chance and I'll judge for myself on how it is, great review

This is one of those games i would love to play in the future, i was pleasantly surprised.

Plus, i think MK and DOA are the two blacksheeps of the fighting game genre.

And I HEAVILY agree on the storyline, I was very, VERY intrigued by it. Playing through all the characters was great. And the cut scenes were amazing. And the cut scenes were different for each side.

I own this game, and I had it a day before it dropped because FYE sold it early.

Mk was NEVER suppose to be VF. Trust me, if you good at MK it can be VERY DEEP, just like any fighting game. Believe me its as detailed as the person behind the controller.

good review magus 5 stars but i feel like this game is near flawless a 8.75 to a 9.25 anyone who is bitching about the story or the fatalities needs to shut there mouths fatalities do not make good games and i doubt marvel vs capcom would do any better in the story department the only thing wrong with it is it gets old pretty fast and the music sound the same no matter where you are but honestly am i the only one who wants mk vs sf

Aramageedon has too many characters I think that was the problem.I haven' t played it yet but I'm more of a marvel guy,except batman he's awesome!!!!I'll try it out though.Maybe at 40 or 30 bucks I'll buy it.I hope this game makes capcom make a marvel vs capcom 3!!!!!Great review magus!

IMO mk stopped being fun after mk trilogy. I didn't really like mk vs dc(yes I played it) was kinda boring and to easy. I got bored pretty quick after the joker. I do this the controls are ok but...not much else. Sad thing is I beat a kid who had been playing it for awhile easily beat him by picking superman. btw rage meter never heard that before COUGHSAMURAISHOWDOWNCOUGH kof told it's story well so did guilty gear. i think i'll save my cash for sf4 tomarrow

I think MK always told a good story, especially when it went 3D. IMO MK also have more interesting characters than Street fighter and the rest of the fighters. The other fighters it's always "pick the high tier character" when in MK it's pick your favorite character. Is why online, you encounter people playing with different characters appose to something like Soul Calibur where everyone picks Kilik, Ivy, Xainghua, and Mitsurugi.

I gotta go with Sagaia on this one. Mortal Kombat hasn't been good for a LONG time. Maybe MK vs. DCU is a good game. I wouldn't know. I've been so turned off by the series since MK4, I'm kinda not even willing to give it a chance. Honestly, Armageddon was supposed to be the series' swan song and I really wish Ed Boon would just let this fucker die instead of kicking at a dead horse. And it IS dead. John Tobias realized that fact many years ago. Probably left to save face.

I did in fact enjoy MK a great deal back in the early years. The first was a great game and MK2 was the best in my opinion. It have a fantastic atmosphere. They started to slip a little in MK3 but it was still good and I enjoyed the chain combos. But by MK4, I felt the franchise had lost itself. It felt almost like 4 was just a desperate attempt to make another sequel. And after that, it just lost it's charm for me. I do hear from a lot of people that MK vs. DCU is fun.
