Man, whenever I fight a Hazama with Tager, I nearly give up on the spot, because the matchup is that bad. Hazama's mobility makes it nearly impossible for Tager to land a good hit.

And yet Mike Z cannot only destroy this guy, but he can do so while clearly toying with the guy just to land a double Astral Finish.

Don't take this the wrong way, but Tager utterly destroys scrubs and novices. If you know what you're doing, he sucks. Advice:

1) Stay away from him and spam projectiles.

2) Make sure to keep alert. All of his "cheap" health-destroying moves are throws and are therefore escapable.

3) He's slow, vulnerable and his hitbox takes up more than half the screen. If you can, juggle the bastard.

4) Be cautious. If you lose your head, you make mistakes; if you make mistakes, Tager wins.

1.Spam projecctile? Assuming every character had one, he can easily super jump & sledge through it at, and eventually corner you, giving him the edge.

2.He actually does have combos you know? combined with his tick=throw games, after gadget finger, and he can set you up for great mix ups.

3. That would be flawless if hopefully the tagar couldnt block, and punish predict your actions.

4.No matter what lv their a,t mistakes are gonna happen.

@FallenDigitalDevil If a combo ends with a 720, it's a purple throw learn to tech out of it. What grappler in ANY fighting game doesn't do insane damage? If his grappling invincibility is such an issue, learn to do safe block strings. Spark Bolt has a gauge, it's right above the heat gauge so it's not some random surprise...

Tager really only has his back-dash that lasts like a hangover, and if you are getting 'stunned' stop mashing buttons, it's probably a counter. Just learn to fight him :P

What a lot of people don't realize is that Tager's Astral is actually a legitimately good tool now. It has crazy invincibility, full screen pull if you're magnetized and it'll catch magnetized jumpers and grounded opponents. It's very hard to avoid, you have to know what you're doing.
