this really was an opera, with "sing speech" dialog which is really hard to do. So Darren likes Wagner opera which is very dramatic, larger than life, melodramatic like Repo! Can you believe these celebraties did this for minimum wage (by Hollywood standards)?! Plus can you believe all these varied stars together in one place - they probably wouldn't even be at the same Hollywood party, but Repo got them working together in one movie!

Everybody in my office is going nuts over this movie. Given the response I'm guessing it's going to be awesome. I can't think of many rock operas besides Rocky Horror though. I don't think the internet generation has had much exposure to that genre of movie yet.
