I think Nirvana may of eventually ended and Dave could've still gone on to new things..stern acts like Kurt didn't care about Dave or his opinons and was going to isolate his life into their band, like Dave's life was solely going to revolve around drumming for nirvana(which he is painting as emotionless and monotonous) and end. the possibilities are endless, but he holds onto the view so strongly..why.

I think everything happens for a reason. Not that I wouldn't like to see Kurt still be alive, but, to think that some of these great Foos songs would have been re-done by him is kind of bothersome. I also think that it was a good thing for Dave that he was already in therapy when Kurt died. Who's to say what would have become of him had he not been.
