Final Fantasy 7 Limit Breaks

For leveling up the limit breaks,

when I want to have level 3 limit break (kill 80 enemies), is it a must to equip level 2 limit break instead of level 1 limit break?

(of course I have learnt two limit breaks in level 2)

Hello thank you for the video!.. i just had a goofy question for any of my charecters i just cant seem to get past level 2 limit breaks...im not sure if my game is glitched or im just running into a common problem?... i grinded with tifa and it said i had earned water kick...but the next 2 limt breaks i got to use with tifa it only stayed at 2 slots for beat rush and somersault..any help on how to fix this would be greatly apperciated...thanks!

@NAS24571 looooooooooooool that shouldn't be possible xD first try at the game at age 8 I had first lvl 2 at Rufus on the roof.... usually I'm almost almost lvl 3 on limits, I use Cid'n Vincent... Cloud gone then he's replaced with Barrett

It doesnt matter what level you are Andy, you just need to have all 6 previous limit breaks and then obtain the relevant item to teach them their ultimate limit. Hope that helped.

how do u get limit breaks is it random or do u get it from people in your party using theirs?

2nd limit in the level becomes available when you use the first one around 6-8 times. The next level of limits are availbale after the character kills a certain amount of enemies (you can kill them any way including summons)

It really isn't that hard to unlock the second limit break in a set you just need to use a limit break 8 times, and to get the first in a new set you need to defeat a certain amount of enemies. What I do is I make all my characters "Hyper" which fills there limit bar faster.

Barret's were badass with the shootout style my faves are the 3rd and 4th. Cloud's are all good..Tifa's took damn long to get but here's are all great. Cid's were somewhat good. I liked the Dragon Dive and the Hyper Jump. Yuffie's best one was Doom of the Living (coolest name for a limit break) Aerith's were all helpful. Vincent's were shit cause u can't control him. Cait Sith...sucks. Red XIII had some good ones too....and these random clips are f'n classic i feel like playin dis all over again

ride the lightning. u got taste in music! it's obvious you've done this in an emulator though because it's sped up and there's a number in the top right. so maybe you don't deserve credit for getting the limits this early as you can level up in units of 10 per hour if you have a speed toggle on an emulator. good vid though.

Hi there DuttyGyal718. You must also teach her, her second limit for each level. e.g. 1/2, 2/2 & 3/2. Once you have these 6 limits. Then you can teach her "The Great Gospel". Hope this helps.

I got it. Lol. Thanks she already died. What happened was she knew all of her moves, but you have to USE all of them at least once (I mean set them as you get new ones. learn and repeat)

Only thing I can suggest is Starcraft for pc. It's not really like what you want, but it's really neat. You have to build bases and then create warriors to fight against the enemies. You can choose, human, alien (like slimy ones) or aliens like that are really advanced. It's a really neat game, if you DO get it, get Starcraft Brood wars. It's around 15-20$ at walmart. Strategy does count ;)

u can get yuffie from the forest when u first go to junon jus keep fighting south of junon in the forest until u fight her

You can get meterorain and finishing touch before the sector 5 reactor if you spend enough time at it. All you have to do is use a limit break about 8 times to unlock the 2nd tier(i.e get hit a lot), then kill 80 enemies to unlock the next level of limits... I've never done it that early though.

Well it's not so much the battles becase you earn new limits simply by using your limit breaks as much as possible... so the secret is... getting hurt a lot. :)
