Great aircraft ??? You have got to be kidding. One of the most dangerous pieces of crap ever built. Ever asked why they're virtually banned in Australia ?
@BMAustralia1 They are not "virtually banned" in Australia, in fact there has never been a serious attempt to ban them. The reason there were so many crashes in Australia (in comparison with the total number of airframes here) was the bleedin' awful training that was given. The FAA recognised that (where there was a concerted attempt to ban the aircraft) and mandated special training (read endorsement training) as previously it was not required to be endorsed on them.
@BMAustralia1 You sir, are what we MU-2 owner/fans call "another clueless hater." You've obviously never been anywhere near (let alone flown) an MU-2. Is it dangerous? Its no more dangerous than any other aircraft in the hands of an untrained pilot. Is it a piece of crap? Well, considering the fact that its the only certified aircraft in it's class that does not have a SINGLE airframe airworthiness directive (when it's been around for almost 50 years.), I'd say no. Do your homework.
Its not because of the fuel. Its because of the hydrolics theres no hydrolic fluide in the left main gear as you can see the jack under the wing holding it so the wing doesnt touch the ground.
More than likely because whomever fueled it put too much on the tip tank that is leaning down....Thats just something one has to be careful of when fueling an MU-2 or a Learjet with tip tanks...
Nice video haha ! Great aircraft for sure !
