I must say, I had never expected an electronic piece like this to hit home as squarely as it has with me. Usually, this sort of tune often sounds too happy and upbeat to really convey a sensation of tragedy and regret like this one does, but perhaps the lyrics are to thank for that, and perhaps this confliction works to its favor. Perhaps it's the fact that I relate to its message so strongly that one listen was enough to convince me to add it to my bundle of favorites. Well done, Svix!
