This is a type of juggling called contact juggling. He's got a really cool style of his own, but one search through Youtube, and you'll find some even crazier contact juggling videos.

By the way, the ball is not glass, it's more like a clear synthetic plastic, and should have the texture of a rubber ball, causing the kid to be able to grip it with the palm of his hand.
