Celebrity Equinox: July 31st - August 7th - First EVER cruise !! Must See For All Cruise Fans !

I was curious if you might be able to give me some more info the the line and the ship.  I'm going to be working on it for 7 months as the solo guitarist and would love to hear more about your experience and what I might need to expect.

@MysticRascal Its generally a nice ship! :D If your a solo guitarist, you will be working outside a lot and in most of the bars. :D

Great video, just consider to do the transition slower. By the way I sailed on the Galaxy and the Mercury and they look just like a tender boat comapre to this beautiful ship.

hey is the ocean good to travel in during the month of august.. ive been on two cruises so far in june my first was 08 went to bahamas and 09 june went to alaska now we are planing on going to mexico or jamaica now.. so was the water calm no storms???

one last question

is the dress code very strict. Do men have to wear long sleeve shirts for all meals

@ChrstnFt Umm, They are not too strict, but on formal nights they do expect you to wear something decent, and on smart casual nights, they expect you to wear long sleeve shirts :D

Thanks for replying, are all evenings either formal or smart casual? what do drinks cost roughly so i can work out how much i need to take for a 10 day cruise?

@ChrstnFt its usually smart casual, but their is like 2 formal nights a week roughly, and i think an average drink cost $2 - $5

i was on the p and o arcadia from july 31st and woke up one morning to find this ship alongside us. i think it looks fab and would love to go on it one day.

Yeah, I remember that, we were looking at arcadia and we thought that it look old compared to Equinox :)

We Talked to some people of off Arcadia and saying about how Arcadia was better for the british and equinox was suited up for more americans even though apparently they are trying to get more english people on it :)

i will be going on the equinox in december. my first cruise and a surprise 40th pressie for my partner, also will be his first cruise.

just wondering if we will have to pay to use the gym and pool, do you have to be aqua class to get this free, and is it worth upgrading to aqua class?

anyone advise??

I have been on this ship for two weeks. Just got back home yestreday. The ship is so beautiful. The food is perfect, entertainement is on the high level, some of them come from Las Vegas. 24 hour roomservice. The houskeeping cleans up the room twice a day. Our waiters were just amazing funny guys. At the theater is live orchestra. I really had a wonderful time!

Wow!! That's alot of ships, I have just been on Ventura for a tour today in Southampton, had a great time its nice to see different ships. Its a shame we couldn't stay, its going to the med for 14 nights, Have you got a favourite ship??

Oceana is nice. i did not like Ventura.

Watching your video bought back memories from when we went on Celebrity Equinox for the launch party.Have you been on any other ships? Its nice to see the ship from someone elses perspective. Loved it!!
