why are you not supposed to feed raccoons grapes? every year they raid the grape vines on our

street, they raid the cherry trees as well, they'll even sleep in the trees and or the grape vines. after all,there's no real need to stray too far from natures refridgerator.

@YippyYieYo I've had these guys since they were eyes closed babies. They kind of think I'm mom so they won't scratch or bite me unless I try to pick them up. They were released back to the wild when they were old enough. Generally baby raccoons don't have rabies. If they did, I would have seen symptoms over the course of a few months that I had them.

@MaryCummins My problem is I fall in love with the animals I take care of too easily. My wife and I have rescued cats, and a dog right now that we decided to keep. I have however had a skunk, raccoon, and an alligator (although the gator stayed in the marsh in front of my grandpa's house). I love that sound the coons make. "Felix" weighed 35lbs when he passed away, and was great friends with my German Sheperd. Thanks for being so kind to the animals.
