if you fire a gun that doesnt have silencer on it. then yea they can see the red dot if you shoot. your dead silent but they can still here you but its very very very very low. your technicaly not really 100% silent. but its lowered down to a point where they just wont be able to hear you for the most part.

yeah it does, but then if you have like an MP44 or an Ak-47 (or any gun with low ROF) and double tap will make it shoot faster than others, therefore, you have stopping power, but if you come across like 4 guys at once, you can spray them down before they can shoot you once, and with stopping power you wouldn't have had time. It has it's advantages.

yes double tap and stopping are pretty much the same, it just depends on your weapon. for example, if you have a sniper rifle you would want more damage per shot rather than fire rate. however, on smgs, having double tap along with spray and pray tactics yeilds more bullet hits when you hip fire.

exactly. i had experience with several weapons, and stopping power is better. if you have double tap, i recommend you use bandolier. if you want help, just ask. i've played cod4 for a long time now, and i have a 2.57 kill/death ratio. ;)

isnt Stoping power and double tap basically the same thing? stopping power basically double damage and double tap fires at faster rate so 1 triger is 2 bullets doing double amount so isnt it the same as stoping power?

to get overkill you need to be level 38, and sadly it is true, you loose all your guns/perks/camos/etc.
