  • Bloody Brilliant...

  • Duane is the better guitar. TLSS are the best band on stage. Electrifying!

  • ... a fine body of men.

  • The BEST vid on the Tube to date....................no BS.............Hurry up & get Down Under!! Watched it 20 times at least!!!!! Check out a similar Aussie band, The Living End.

  • that show is kind of illegal

  • Mel gibson on lead guitar how fkn crazy can u get

  • Yeah, I think this video sums them up pretty well...

  • my new favorite band the sound is totally its own love it

  • on of my most favorite paces to work to, thanks guys!!!

  • It's no wonder that guy is so skinny ... I'll bet he burns 5,000 calories at each gig.

I saw these guys a few years back in Nashville with Lucero and Rev. Horton Heat. A tri-bill that remains one of the best shows I've ever seen.

  • anyone know the name of that gypsy sounding song?

  • Comment removed

  • @skook13 Gypsy Valentine

  • @ontheroadrn Thanks alot mate

  • @skook13 Could be Agony Wagon or Misery Train from the 'Believe' album

  • @Nekroguitar Right on! I found it, thanks bro

  • @skook13 It's Ichabod from the album Pandelirium.

  • Mi parte favorita 0:03

  • See you tonight, mutherfuckers!!!!! Hell yeah!!!

  • As kick ass as this video is still not as good as the live show.

  • pure awesomeness

  • @TreeLeg

I think you need to get your vision checked.

  • Saw these guys at the Jewish Mother in VA Beach this summer. Rediculously awesome. We talked with the bass player after the show. They play fender amps, 'cept for the singer, bassist has a degree in theology, etc. At one point the topic came around to consorting with wizards....don't do it (or you shall be smited!)

  • @hashbrowns1212 Haha was at the same show. Fucking amazing...I love seeing these guys.

  • JD is so surprising. I went to see his show, not very many people there. He was outside smoking a pipe before it started, we were talking. He was really soft-spoken and seemed meek. Then he got on stage and went ballistic. It was incredible! Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde!

  • November 16th, Newport, Kentucky, with Reverend Horton Heat and Split Lip Rayfield, and my ass is going....HELL YEAH!

  • Saw them at the Soul Kitchen in Mobile, AL. They only played about a 50 minute set. The whole crowd cried for an encore, but they refused, because we "didn't clap". Well, honestly, no one felt like clapping when you say you're done after 50 minutes...

  • Best concert experience I ever had. He's been called the greatest frontman in rock for a reason.

  • at the Chameleon Club (Lancaster PA) w/ The Dead End Cruisers this Saturday!

  • CAN'T WAIT to see them live @ THe Social 9/24!

  • Finally after loving them for 6 years since being shown them by my Dad when I was 10, I'm seeing them tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D

  • This is THE best live band you can ever see. Jim and Laylas one nght on Broadway, I will never forget. Je me souviens. JD you are the king. FF

  • boooom!

  • One of the best fun!

  • well wish they would come to glasgow, helsinki or brussels.. thats where im located. on most accounts. odds are quite low.

  • @dravde100

    helsinki would be cool!

  • @dravde100 Get some good rock-pubs/festivals. They are playing for the third time in Tromsø/Norway tomorrow...! (70k pop shit-city 61degrees north)

  • @sortbane holy f*ck just saw they're coming to finland tomorrow! thank you so much for that! (got curious to see if they would make it here since they are in norway) well i've just found myself a quest for tomorrow. wow almost missed that

  • @sortbane and! also by spur of luck found out reverand horton heat is playin on thursday! (recently got back) thank you for that sincerely did not think to look this sh*t up when i came back my week just got that much better cuz of you. thank you.

  • LOL...lead singer looks like something out of a Phil Hale painting...

  • Crazy ass hillbillies. Good shit though.

  • you should just buy pandelirium!

Awesome album, every song is cracking

  • This song is awesome, i can't get enough of it!

anyone know of any other songs like this?

btw, where can i find the lyrics?

  • relly its great.

  • fire & brimstone! you're gonna burn in hellbilly.

  • Bring Back David Lee on guitar!!! :(

  • Seein these guys tomorrow night, I can't wait. The singer reminds me of an early anthony kiedis (very early, like 83-88), with his antics and general energy, I'm excited.

  • Saw these guys last night, they put on a wild show

  • too bad no one else agrees with you

  • Ok... this band is fucking awesome and all... and please dont epically flame me for this... but this band isn't racist are they? I know they sport the confederate flag and thats not necessarily a sign of white supremacy but they have this lyric that bugs me in the song old spur line that goes: "The Devils in the details, And your reverend's into retail. Your soul's alone in this world of stone, you'll find So what can you do, You wery Wandering Jew?" and i have no idea what it means.

  • Nevermind. I did a little more research.

  • read this on JD's website...straight from colonel: "PS: a 'Wandering Jew' is another term for a traveler or gadabout. There is nothing racist implied. It's also the name of a flower."

  • great great great

  • last time i saw these guys the vocalist ripped out some hairs from my beard and threw it into the crowd and ripped my shirt open twice....it was awesome, haha

  • This song is fucking awesome

  • Saw them two years ago... wore out the T-shirt ;) Just amazing live band!

  • Seeing these crazy kids in an hour!

  • The show kicked ASS!!! Holy crap!

  • Anyone has lyrics of the song?

  • I do, PM me your email if you still want them.

  • could i have them?

  • Google for JDWilkes. He has most lyrics on his Blogspot page.

  • i saw these guys a couple of months back. the lead singer is a nut, he spits like a madman. it was a great show, im just glad i was in the back of the crowd, i was safe from the spit back there.

  • At the moment - my favorite American band. Yes, they rock out like a monster, but the true strength of this serpent is the songwriting. The sonic roar they produce pretty much kills the ultra smart lyrics and the message gets lost. Their last three releases are the best examples of damaged Americana I've ever heard. SWAMPBLOOD is highly reccomended!

  • I am the bass players wife.

  • Then what's your name

  • i have to admit, i am not faithful to the bass players wife either.

  • This (awesome) song reminds me of Gogol Bordello...and that insane (also awesome) laughter reminds me of Riff-Raff from The Rocky Horror Picture Show, haha :)

  • oh!

  • While it is true, it's really none of our business and doesn't have any impact on how much these guys rock.

  • "The Last of the Great Frontmen." - Jello Biafra

I tend to agree, Jello, but let's wait and see. ;)

  • wow, this is acctualy really good. sounds sort of like Fintroll + country music.

  • They're better than anything you listen to obviously.

  • Nice! Nice! NICE!

  • There is no better live band! After seing hundreds of bands there is nothing more refreshing than Th* Legendary Shack Shakers!

  • I'd love to see these guys on a double bill with Gogol Bordello, but that might be too much fun for one evening... It might rip a hole in the space-time continuum or something...

  • YES!!!! I've seen both bands live and you're absolutely right, these two bands on the same night would be.........illegal, it has to be, no way something that much fun and mind warping can be legal!

  • agreed. But it has to be ilegal. Too much Debauchery for one stage

  • anyone got the lyrics to this?

  • the lyrics are on their myspace

  • Was there to, go zwarte cross, go TLSS

  • they were @ the zwarte cross this year in holland .!!! F*cking awesome !! :D:D

  • they need to come to the west!

  • they blow the guy with the bass his mom was my neighbor her names donna

  • This band has some of the best stage presence I've ever seen. I saw them last night with Rancid. They were awesome.

  • People didnt really hit the floor before Ichabod. It was like setting of a bomb... everybody had a great time!

  • I just came home from one of their conserts just now, and I needed one more "fix" ! I don't think I have had so much fun by myself on any consert before (all my friends have different musical taste or where buisy.) I have never laughted so hard before neighter, J.D. (the singer) where humping some bald guys head! And all the ecspressions... All the band members gave 100% It's an honor to have them playing for us in Norway... Keep sending these great bands America!

  • super live show absolutely hoppin

crazy geezers The show is like lookin at an 8 hour day of punk work

  • one of the greatest bands to see live!!!!

  • Very good song, and very good band.

    Hâte qu'ils passent en France...

  • I got reccomended these. They are pretty damn cool. Am i right in thinking the genre is "Southern Goth"??

  • @bemorecarefull

    No.

Their music has been described as Southern GothIC, but I wouldn't say that's the genre. It's blues rock/rockabilly. Or psychobilly, if you want.

  • @geniusiknowit Pschobilly is perfect

  • This band eats and spits out li'l shits like tiger army for breakfast. Long live REAL psychobilly

  • One of the best bands out there, today!

  • I wish i could've gone to the gig they did with them, Horton Heat and Hank III...could a better line up ever exist!?

  • Rock 'till ya drop.. Luuuv this band!

  • i hope you guys love what you do because i do...

  • Wow! Just saw these guys in LA last night and they blew us away!!!

  • You shouldn't use your tongue to stop a fan. I learned that from the Kids in the Hall.

  • Just got back from the show here in Calgary. Once again, just incredible.

  • listen invisibleink, anytime they play within 100 miles from me im there!!

  • right on!

(i know this response was waaaay late but i was treating myself to some shack*shakin' video and reading the comments and noticed you had replied to my earlier comment)

  • I saw them open for RevHo, was a fabulous show.

  • as did i. Did he pull out the num chucks and confetti

  • if these guys are coming on tour ANYWHERE near you go and see them. you will not be disappointed!

  • I will . . . F*cking . . . PARTY ! ! ! ! ! FOREVER! ! !

  • TLSS is god!!

  • Muy buenos

  • horton heat is the most boring shit ever

  • boo this man for dogging REV

  • If you like shows with lots of energy, craziness to the point of being a little scary and AWESOME music to boot, see these guys live. I've seen MANY shows and this ranks among the best.

  • Just saw these guys open for the Reverend Horton Heat last night...they fucking rule. J.D. Wilkes is like the bastard spawn of Iggy Pop, Woody Guthrie, and Johnny Rotten. I'm in love!

  • hah whoa

  • Picking this album up for sure.

  • this is amazing

  • The Legendary Shack Shakers is by far the best live show you'll ever see

  • HOLY EFFING ISHT. coolest video ever!
