  • This is an exquisite collection, the Asian influence is worked really well in the pieces. Excellent work, Giorgio Armani.

  • the music disturbs me.

  • Beautiful.. Period

  • Somebody, prompt, please, where all can be downloaded it, full versions of show and it is desirable in high quality?! Podiums 1990's especially interest. Thankful in advance!

  • Fantastic!!! Flower queens!!! And real high quality! Thank You!

  • its very geisha like. its too bad there's only white models. again.

  • Love the music. Does anyone know what it is?

  • Ever since he started Privé, Armani consistently presents beautiful couture designs that are truly spectacular and always takes my breath away. What I always enjoy from Armani is that he is never shy to experiment with shapes, textures and construction. I always look forward to his haute couture collections because there is a powerful simplicity that is so elegant and impressing to the eye.

  • Dedicated to Japan and the survivors of the earthquake and tsunami, this collection is a loud whisper of sophistication. It is pure elegance that is highly exceptional with the influence of Japanese art and style.

There was never a dull moment in the presentation. I was truly captivated by this supreme collection that truly represented what Armani loves to do. To make a woman look and feel beautiful.

  • LOVE THE MUSIC!!!!

  • Love Love Love Vlada

  • Who is the model at 2:46?

  • love this

  • THE FIRST LOOK I LOVED ALLREDY!

  • Wow Collection but another totally WHITE Model casting at Armani... WTF? where is the Diversity? JESUS! Makes me So Effing Mad! He could Book ONE GODDAMN Girl of Color?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

  • interesting but quite sad because asia is not only about Japan or China...if only Giorgio look further to Indonesia/Balinese fashion like the traditional 'kebaya' dress, it'll become more precious.

  • Armani's zitelle!

  • VLADA

  • Im surprise that armani took inspiration from Japan but yet disn't use any Asian models for the show.....

  • i love when models trip and they laugh or smile....it's like "ok....yes you're supposed to be in character, but enjoy your life....make fun of yourself once in a while"

  • Im not a huge fan of asian total style, but Armani really nailed it! Love the collection! Great fabrics, good detail with the hair and not too much make up. A cohesent collection, music..tells a story! Good haute couture! Armani lover

  • I am always a huge fan of fashions designed with an edge toward the orient. And these are definitely some of the best I have seen in quite a little while. FAB U LOUS.

  • A man's vision etched into the indelible fibers that is Armani Haute Couture.

  • Thank you Giorgio and Elie for saving haute couture!!!

  • @MyCrazyPsycho i hate when people includes elie in couture he dont hav inspiration!!! once he imitated cavalli once valentino then chanel he isnt a designer go to the archives hate when comparares him to people of talent elie make debutant dresses

  • @fella006 Elie is one of THE FINEST cotouriers in the world... He is not imitating anyone... He has his own style which is present in every single collection... He is not pretending, he is not creating something that he is not. And how would he copy Chanel? Chanel is the biggest joke of cotoure and everyone loves it even though every year collection is the same... Cannot agree with you about Elie especially that In have been following his collection for quite a time now.

  • @MyCrazyPsycho if i explain will u listen to?i think no but ok couture is about ''create'' lines n make it possible for a seamdress i dont see inovation on elie when u r a creator u run in history to find somethin inspirational i can see sleeves from michaela of spain in karls clothes a 90s or 16th feelin u know a true designer by the shoes he put in her models elie shoes seems jennifer lopez shoes u r elegant when u choose manolo/ frissoni instead of louboutin n a gaultier tux=)luxury!!

  • My beautiful "geisha" Jac almost fall!!! 00:37

  • Simply Beautiful!

  • Who's the model at 1:28?

  • they rocked it

  • Racial dilemma talks aside, this was a BEAUTIFUL Haute Couture collection. Bravo Mr. Armani!

  • Whats anme of this songs, pleas?

  • I don't care if they didn't use chine/japanese models!

    The collection is three words

    AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!!!!

(Does not matter who ended up wearing it...Sheesh!)

  • breathtaking <3

  • WOW....WOW... :)...This is TRUE COUTURE!!!

  • Finally there are some pieces I actually like!

  • YES!!!!!! Now this is what couture should look like..... Not a hot mess like the Dior show!

  • YES!!!!!! Now this is what couture shoul look like..... Not a hot mess like the Dior show!

  • the new models of these days walk sooooooooooo bad

  • 04:40 Kinga Rajzak walk like a japanese woman

  • Armani remains the master of the fashion universe

  • I would have liked to see some major Asian faces rocking it!

Liu Wen, Du Juan, Sun Fei Fei etc etc.

But I liked the girls they chose to open (Jac, tho she tripped) and close (??) the show.

  • @verruckteju Same, feels shame not to have japanese models in a japan inspired show, i think Ai Tominaga would of looked wonderful is a-lot of these pieces. and the last model is Kinga Razjac

  • @jimmyjk08 oh, thanx for the name!

  • @verruckteju chinese models wearing japanese-inspired clothes?

  • @BenDeGracia why not? There are more Chinese models on the market than there are Japanese anyway.

  • @verruckteju @Blkmphl you've got a point, but i think mr armani didn't want to make a cliche asian inspired collection using asian models.

china vs japan is an historical competition, they are truly unique in their own way. if this collection was for japan why you're going to use chinese models to pretend that they look like japanese. thats a prejudice. :)

  • @BenDeGracia You learnt me things; so with choosing only caucasian models, they chose quite a status-quo?

or they simply didn't bother to look for Japanese models that fit their aesthetic of the collection...

  • @verruckteju both are strong reasons, but only they know the truth :)

  • @BenDeGracia

Why not? You have white models wearing Japanese inspired clothes.

  • Whats name of this songs, pleas?

  • I like that everything is so well tailored, specially with such fabrics like silk wich unravels so fast! I also love how Karlie and Karolina nailed it!!!

  • Karlie Kloss is a bad ass! My favorite! Hands down!!!

  • @DanielBabyyyy, i totally LOL'ed when she was walking down. stole the show for me

  • I think its difficult, if not impossible to truly appreciate a couture collection through a visual medium alone. To not be there, to touch the fabrics and listen to the movement is really not experiencing couture. The idea that couture is ALWAYS elaborately sculpted and entirely unwearable is so far from the true spirit. Armani still needs to sell his brand, and the fact that he can make lush, one of a kind, wearable pieces with a delicate inspiration, is wonderful. Bravo.

  • I love the fabrics of GAP

    Are so Luxury..

    & the model almost fall..

  • I love it!

  • Asian inspired collection without using Asian models

  • @dentball so what? should asian inspired collection be worn only by asians?

i dont see how it changes the geniality of collection...

  • @MissBablz, do you have reading disability?

My comment did not imply that the collection should have been worn by only asians.

My point was that the collection was strongly inspired by asian influence, yet casting director (or whoever that was) did not cast any asian models for the show.

I found that to be strange considering there are many top asian models nowadays.

As an asian myself, I found that to be a bit insulting.

  • @dentball no need to be rude. i am an asian too and that didnt insult me at all. actually its good to see how asian culture is presented and modified for other cultures so it doesnt feel so far away and unusual.

there is no room for nationality issues in fashion. its just a creative artistic game.

  • @MissBablz very well said.

  • @dentball i agree ! at least Liu Wen (love her) and i'm not asian

  • hmmm I don't know if I like it. Litlle tacky but i do love that Armani supports Japan

  • japan

  • Amazing collection, he did it again.

  • waw armani!

  • Just luv the collection, verrry feminine, very elegant.

  • yes, nothing new but the tailoring and the details are just perfect.

  • i thougth boring. He always doing the same shape, same conceptual idea....

  • Loved watching it live this morning :)

  • @FASHIONCentral Where did you watched it live? And will there be the broadcasting of any other shows???

  • extraordinary

  • lol jac.. so cute

  • ew- asian inspiration just looks so tacky. first dior fails, now armani. last years haute couture collections were 10 times better, its just gone downhill this year
