Surely its not about whether its hardware or software but the point is that you use *your* imagination. This is great but so far I'm not convinced that it sounds any better to the ear than the software equivalent. I could be wrong but lets face it, we are all listening to it on youtube at low quality so it seems ridiculous to demand the real hardware for this purpose.
is it a better idea to actually buy the rack or can you usually get the same sounds with software or with newer hardware? looking at a Tx802 on ebay that i can't afford but it's oh so tempting
@fabrizioorbezo TF1 provides 6 voices. so TX816 does 48 voices( 6*8), if you use algorithm 32.

@omowaremas
Correction exach TDF1 is exactly a DX7 so 16 note poly x 8

@omowaremas each TF1 is 16 voices so the TX816 is (8 x 16) 192 voice polyphonic.

@fabrizioorbezo TX816 does not provide granular synthesis. It's Frequency Modulation.

I love your TX816 videos. Very creative use of the synth.

lovley beat. Also really like the way you used the voices. Feels like the music from an imaginary subway station :)
Keep it up man! There are far too few good vids of this monster!
