All i think should happen is that England, Scotland and Wales should all have their own parliaments, and should treat Great Britain like a mini europe.
Scots, Welsh, N-Irish Dont have a say in whether or not english gets its own parliament. I'm Scottish and i definitely think you guys should have a devolved parliament to make decisions in the interests of yourselves, like the rest of us do. But you guys are the ones who need to vote for it like the scots, welsh and n-irish did. you cant blame us for not having one. but aye, damn right you should have one, you get my vote as well if we could vote for it.
Interestingly Celtic and Rangers are both applying to join the English League mainly because the Scottish League is poor, unpopular and internationally insignificant.
Scottish MPs at Westminter are there to govern the United Kingdom's affairs as Scotland is part of the United Kingdom. I can see where you are coming from though, but Westminster is the UK government, not the english government. what annoys me is the fact that english people arent too bothered about the welsh or northern irish "ruling" england. Instead of complaining that scots are ruling you, you should be demanding a seperate english government from the UK government!

@EnglandPerson english mps do have a say on how scotland is ran in a lot of ways, and even if every scot was against it it would still have to go through if the english decided on it. devolution was set up to protect certain issues from the majority of outsiders. scots are not a majority in the uk so why are you so worried?

Anyway, IMO there should be a referendum on an English Parliament. I would support it though i think there is a real danger that in a couple of years people would then start to ask "what's the point of being part of the UK when we are all truly separate nations".
I wouldn't blame you. England's certainly gone to shit.. but Cornwall couldn't be free like that. It would be too small and too low on money. (as well as being in England since many thousands of years ago)
