  • how do you do the all views thing?

  • Thank you!! Very clear instruction!

  • great tut. i have a question. how would i be able to make a logo in cinema, and then open it in AI and expand the appearance so i would be able to split it into pieces? any help from someone would be appreciated.

  • Very good tutorial, thanks for great help and work! Keep it up :)

  • Does the C4D 11.5 accept a later version of Illustrator or do I need to do something different with my document settings in Illustrator because I am having a hard time doing anything with my ai file in C4D. It's importing but without seeing text layers, can't add colours etc. Do I need to flatten, Rasterize?

  • great tut and very easy to understand!

  • All good stuff and very helpful. What I'd really like to know is how you do this in reverse. So you have your model of a logo all setup and textured, how do you best get that out into illustrator .ai format?

  • This helped me on working on my clan logo.

    Thanks for this.

  • Thanks so much, have the program since yesterday. With the help of your video I can already do a bit of what I wanted!

  • side note: when you put down the extrude nurbs you can move the axis to the object before putting the object in it, that will fix that axis deal , but your solution is good too :)

  • Very nice, thanks

  • Super cool stuff. Great job.

  • thanks, this was very helpful!

  • Nice tutorial, but is there anyway I can add a bevel to an illustration without adding caps that expand beyond the original vector?

i.e. I want to use an exsisting logo and give certain parts curves but don't want them to change the gaps between characters etc.

  • Thanks for this very useful tutorial.

Would be great if you could do a tutorial on your opening promo. I mean, a tutorial on the way you rendered and animated the 'GB' initials at the start of this video. Seems like a very useful technique too.

    Cheers.

  • You can't do that with photoshop??

  • @LPSlasher

You can do that in photoshop, you make a selection of the thing you want to make in 3d, go to paths on the right side of the screen, and make a work path. Then go to export-> path to illustrator and then you are pretty much done, hope that helps
