For a relatively low budget film this is quite well directed, the soundtrack is quite extraordinary at times hats off to the composer. I’ve always been a fan of the game and it’s nice to see someone make the effort to produce something from nothing. Sadly what let’s it down is the poor ensemble acting however I would gladly watch it again if I was in the mood. Well done guys.

Well, let us pause... Pause, complete. That sucked out loud and was a fantastic display of arrogance and disregard for those who conceived the original. Also, this whole venture seems to be fantastically illegal. video pirates sitting in theaters have put more spit and polish on their ripoffs.
That... I have to say that was really, really good. Especially the fight scenes near the end. The acting could use a bit of work, but other than that it was fantastic. The special effects were above and beyond typical fan movie fare. A job well done.
The first thing I don't like is what they said was the way the triforce was created. It was the point the three goddesses left the earth after creating it. It was not and answer to prayers
Ok... So it started out strong, there were some big inconsistencies right from the beginning, and it only got worse as it went through. Seems like it got rushed.
Ok... I just watched link and Saria apart...I would say I disliked the fact that they made Saria his "Mom"....I LOVE the way the twisted the part of when Saria gives the orcarina to Link, but instead she gave him rupees and the kikori sword <3 Loved it!
Finally watched it. Gannondorf could have been scarier and not just creepy. Seeing a blood-spattered Link is a bit far from the Zelda series. Other than that, good take on Ocarina of Time. Movie had me hooked until the end.
I disagree with the other comments haha. Being a big fan of Zelda myself the idea of a movie is hard to really imagine. This movie was definitely okay. Although I'm not an avid fimmaker, I know what goes into it.
What I liked- Despite the (apparent?) low budget, the effects looked pretty good for having no professional equpiment. It had some clever moments in there, like some of the fighting looked well choreographed and put together. Some of the settings looked great, Kokiri in particular.
@JurySeven I also liked some of the acting. The inn guy was my favorite, he seemed to know what he was doing with his monologue. The music I thought sounded very good, considering it was mostly original. The characters were memorable and each very individual. The makeup and costumes were well done, but probably in any movie Ganondorf would look a little goofy... haha.
@JurySeven What I didn't like- The Deku tree was a bit laughable, adding a face onto a normal tree will be hard to take seriously. The accents, I can't help; it seems like every fantasy themed movie has some sort of english-based accent. The cliche of a terribly awkward servant of the antagonist... enough said haha. I'm pretty sure you must have just went to a renaissance fair of some sort, got some footage and left and added it in the film- I only mention it because it felt very plugged-in.
@JurySeven There's some continuity errors I noticed. When Link is leaving the forest and running throug the creepy spot, it showed him with his bow, so I thought it must have been a flashfoward, that just confused me. I can tell this must have been filmed in chronological order, becaue Link's hair was super shiny and freshly dyed and bleached, and it was brown and longer by the end. Why not just keep his hair brown and natural looking?
@JurySeven The story itself was mostly believable. The pacing should have been a bit different, I think a lot of the middle and beginning could have been cut out to extend the middle-ending and the end. showing link go through the mountain level and getting through the dragon to a scene with the first sage, then a montage of the other trials, was a little weak. Maybe making it three sages, and showing the trials from the middle point to the climax could have been better.
@JurySeven There's moments where some things are focused too heavily on, and others important hard to notice, like when Link was behind the tree, he looked mixed between enjoying the music and, maybe his hand was hurting? I knew he looked at his hand and remembered his objective, but it just looked awkward.. when Impa noticed Link's hand, though I was able to put it together, maybe a close-up of his hand could have helped show the viewer what she was looking at.
@JurySeven Watching the movie, I was eventually able to forget the home-video feel of the picture and I was enjoying it like a hollywood film. I can't think of what else to say, but all in all I'd give it a C+. It is well done and I can see your commitment to the movie and respect for the game. I've seen movies that are bad in every way; this movie was pretty good. I'll be watching it a second time someday. Sorry for all the comments haha..
Haven't watched is yet but you've already lost some respect in my book for your tags, for those themselves I don't know if I can take this seriously, I do recommend however that your tags reflect your work and not just some cheap gimmick to get people to watch your video

I always give fan films a fantastic chance because of how much love and work has to go into something for no profit.
But this movie was pretty sub-par and it's because of the one thing that can be good in a fan film regardless of budget, the script. Dialogue, characterization, and the awful pacing. All that time before the quest would have been far better time used on the quest itself.
Many parts were genuinely enjoyable but that was a glaring issue. Also come on Sheik use a mask.
so let me get this straight, after link killed ganondorf, and went back in time he and zelda remembered everything, but ganondorf was banished to another realm? makes sense. i love video games.
The Kokiri are all children that never grow up, and Saria is Link's friend, not his adoptive mother. Her hair is suppossed to be green... there are a 101 things wrong with this movie, but it is a semi-decent stab at turning this into a movie, something that if Nintendo put money in could turn out really great.
@blackphoenixXIII I am familiar with both of those versions as well as the loz: a link to the past where zeldas hair is brown as well, although links hair is pink (or arguably a light shade of red). The main point I was making is that they chose the ocarina of time to base everything for this movie on, where she is blonde (and link is too-thankfully). Also note, I didn't say it ruined the movie. I was just pointing out that i didn't see how they missed it when it was such an easy fix.

Well done, nice and necessary changes, well scripted fights ...
But:
- The dialogues sometimes could have been better.
- Take acting-training next time (besides of the merchant noone could act)
- Use fkn REAL chainmail on ganondorf!

Ok... I just watched link and Saria apart...I would say I disliked the fact that they made Saria his "Mom"....I LOVE the way the twisted the part of when Saria gives the orcarina to Link, but instead she gave him rupees and the kikori sword <3 Loved it!

Finally watched it. Gannondorf could have been scarier and not just creepy. Seeing a blood-spattered Link is a bit far from the Zelda series. Other than that, good take on Ocarina of Time. Movie had me hooked until the end.

I disagree with the other comments haha. Being a big fan of Zelda myself the idea of a movie is hard to really imagine. This movie was definitely okay. Although I'm not an avid fimmaker, I know what goes into it.
What I liked- Despite the (apparent?) low budget, the effects looked pretty good for having no professional equpiment. It had some clever moments in there, like some of the fighting looked well choreographed and put together. Some of the settings looked great, Kokiri in particular.

@JurySeven I also liked some of the acting. The inn guy was my favorite, he seemed to know what he was doing with his monologue. The music I thought sounded very good, considering it was mostly original. The characters were memorable and each very individual. The makeup and costumes were well done, but probably in any movie Ganondorf would look a little goofy... haha.

@JurySeven What I didn't like- The Deku tree was a bit laughable, adding a face onto a normal tree will be hard to take seriously. The accents, I can't help; it seems like every fantasy themed movie has some sort of english-based accent. The cliche of a terribly awkward servant of the antagonist... enough said haha. I'm pretty sure you must have just went to a renaissance fair of some sort, got some footage and left and added it in the film- I only mention it because it felt very plugged-in.

@JurySeven There's some continuity errors I noticed. When Link is leaving the forest and running throug the creepy spot, it showed him with his bow, so I thought it must have been a flashfoward, that just confused me. I can tell this must have been filmed in chronological order, becaue Link's hair was super shiny and freshly dyed and bleached, and it was brown and longer by the end. Why not just keep his hair brown and natural looking?

@JurySeven The story itself was mostly believable. The pacing should have been a bit different, I think a lot of the middle and beginning could have been cut out to extend the middle-ending and the end. showing link go through the mountain level and getting through the dragon to a scene with the first sage, then a montage of the other trials, was a little weak. Maybe making it three sages, and showing the trials from the middle point to the climax could have been better.

@JurySeven There's moments where some things are focused too heavily on, and others important hard to notice, like when Link was behind the tree, he looked mixed between enjoying the music and, maybe his hand was hurting? I knew he looked at his hand and remembered his objective, but it just looked awkward.. when Impa noticed Link's hand, though I was able to put it together, maybe a close-up of his hand could have helped show the viewer what she was looking at.

@JurySeven Watching the movie, I was eventually able to forget the home-video feel of the picture and I was enjoying it like a hollywood film. I can't think of what else to say, but all in all I'd give it a C+. It is well done and I can see your commitment to the movie and respect for the game. I've seen movies that are bad in every way; this movie was pretty good. I'll be watching it a second time someday. Sorry for all the comments haha..

Haven't watched is yet but you've already lost some respect in my book for your tags, for those themselves I don't know if I can take this seriously, I do recommend however that your tags reflect your work and not just some cheap gimmick to get people to watch your video

I always give fan films a fantastic chance because of how much love and work has to go into something for no profit.
But this movie was pretty sub-par and it's because of the one thing that can be good in a fan film regardless of budget, the script. Dialogue, characterization, and the awful pacing. All that time before the quest would have been far better time used on the quest itself.
Many parts were genuinely enjoyable but that was a glaring issue. Also come on Sheik use a mask.

The Kokiri are all children that never grow up, and Saria is Link's friend, not his adoptive mother. Her hair is suppossed to be green... there are a 101 things wrong with this movie, but it is a semi-decent stab at turning this into a movie, something that if Nintendo put money in could turn out really great.

@blackphoenixXIII I am familiar with both of those versions as well as the loz: a link to the past where zeldas hair is brown as well, although links hair is pink (or arguably a light shade of red). The main point I was making is that they chose the ocarina of time to base everything for this movie on, where she is blonde (and link is too-thankfully). Also note, I didn't say it ruined the movie. I was just pointing out that i didn't see how they missed it when it was such an easy fix.
