Use Forisol and Aegisol before the boss fight really help also. Take out both of the arms first then after that go for the head and the kill. Use Lightning summon when the boss HP is half way. Make sure you change to the defensive paradigm when the enemy is about to attack your party. Always keep your party HP higher then 1000 and change to defensive paradigm when party HP is 650 or lower and use potion.

If you want to defeat this boss then I recommend you getting all the characters crystalization all to lvl 3. Upgrade your weapons to at least lvl 3 or higher if you can and upgrade every character accessories to lvl 2 or higher as well. Choose Lightning, Hope and Fang as your combat party. Make sure you switch to the paradigm that have Saboteur and Synergist 2 or 3 times in the battle. Make sure Lightning technical points is at full to be able to use her summon.

i fucking hate this boss he is such a bitch. I fought him like 19 million times then i quick playing, because i went all the way back to a really old save and started playing over again which was like 8 months ago.

Light Vanille and Sazh is WAY better combination. I got 5 stars with them. Just go to paradime Bully, than change between relentless attack and diversity. Easy to get 5 stars.

God, someone reply to this with SPECIFIC help, this guy has beat me so many times, I destroy all his faces, then when i finally stagger him, he uses destructo, and guess what! I have my cyrstrium sphere grind maxed out and he takes lightning down with one hit. So like after rage quitting, and trying another 4 times, i manage to somehow survive the same attack, but then HE CASTS DOOM! to fuck my life up. And cos he has about 1/5 of his HP remaining, and whenever i go to stagger the bastad

Boss is easy. I beat him on the first try. I had my crystarium maxed going into this battle. I used shrouds as well. I had Lightning, Hope and Sazh. The reason you all keep dying on Destructo is because you are not doing enough damage to him when he is charging up. When he is charging up, go all out offense. If you do that and have a maxed out crystarium, you should not find this boss hard at all.

You can cast slow on him as soon as you kill the pauldrons as well.

I know how to dodge that Destrudo move. If you're using the aggression Paradigm wait until fang and lighting kinda stun him and then wait for the ATB gage to fill up when you hear the sound he makes press A to go attack and the shots aimed at you will all miss or only one or two will hit you.

Honestly, whenever your dying 3+ time on any boss fight, its most likley because your characters aren't powerful enough or simply it just comes down to health. It doesn't hurt to go back and farm cp, and common drops on the mobs before the boss, because they're usually always is. This fight was so easy for me and got 5 stars because my three characters had over 1600 health, maxed roles also. Plus all my characters have their weapons upgraded to level 25 because i got 200k gil off of these mobs.

I can survive destructos I got vanille lightning and snow put lightning and vanille in medic and snow in sentinel then heal to full and ready a 4 cure and u survive with about 50 if lightning has 1205 hp

if your doing really poor on this boss a hint for health is grind the enemies outside they drop these credit chips that sell for alot. after a while you can buy titanium bangles for your battle party

I hate this boss, he is a massive pain in my ass. He kills me every time with his lame destrudo attack. I've read that if you grind your crystal chart to the max that you can do for that stage of the game, that'll help you in the fight. So, I'm trying that method out along with how you did it in this video. Hopefully this strategy will help me finally beat this bastard!!

@supersora6 wen he charges destrudo dont heal or anythink just atack like crazy till u hear a loud sound then the damage for destrudo will be halved try to heal after u stop him from using destrudo at its full potentian but risk it am not sure if it will work :)

@soldaderyan To prevent doom, don't waste too much time fighting him. Instead, dps him as fast as you can. Heal if you have to heal but don't waste time doing too much of it.

@Tailsfan1995 When he charges that attack, go all out to damage him 'til he roars and it will do less damage (Hit him for 12000) Then do another 8000 and the attack is nearly worthless.

You too busy healing, that's what getting you killed.

@Tailsfan1995 When you know he is about to use it, stock up a full ATB bar for lightning, target the boss. As soon as he starts the attack, then you let your attack go, Lightning will run forward and most the missiles will miss her. This should help. You can also use a summon to stop the damage.

If you got time, go all-out on superpope when he charges-if his stagger things gets just over halfway he has to recharge and it only does half the damage!

anyone know what levels these guys are at? like in the christariums? cause i'm maxed out in comando for lightning and lvl 2 for the ravager and medic. the same thing for snow and hope.

@zathra300 that wouldn't matter, christariums have 2 stats universal and class type. but universal stats like strength magic and HP. if you max out all your christariums you benfit from the unversal stats added up from all three class's.

a big help is in this chapter when you get to the green alert area the battles are 750 cp points per battle, the earlyist you can farm in the game. i maxed out everything in 3 hours.

because of the farming in this chapter in beat this guy in 10 minutes

When he starts the destrudo then do as much dmg as you can! He will moan twise and shoot 2 "bombs".
