  • what is the song name?

  • I think on here people have ruined the chance of many to find an art and want to explore it. Though the video's help, to a point, the style, moves, and what is out there. What pisses me off is the Armchair warriors that "talk" about other systems, refer to "books". In combat I won't give a F**k what you read. You better have my back cause I know only me and my potential so I know I will have yours. So, all you "Burger King karate" experts needs to train more and read less.

  • argentine kung fu wow.

  • @bigkittysmile thanks for your comment.

  • This guy looks strong, good posture - looks more like a taiji/bagua guy then white crane though (as much as you can tell from basic body shape), so would prefer to see him doing those form then this one. Southern mantis sarm bo jin is a much better version too. ;)

  • @deadlypalms en breve voy a postear un clip de mantis sureña., gracias por los comentarios.

  • Why only practice Sanchin ? What is so special about "Sanchin" ?

  • 很不錯!!

  • @73vocado 非常感谢您的评论

  • Too much bobbing up and down ... left and right sides are not balanced. The Sifu looks like he needs to eat less and train more ... waist is the same as his shoulders.

  • @JFSpringer lol. do not ask me what was that mean what XingYi said. lol. im sure you dont understand either.

  • @JFSpringer in this particular case- size doesn't matter ! My Sifu was exactly the same for as Kung Fu Panda, but he was perfect in technics. I would say about this demo that there is a good form, but there is no content..! But in general its cool... its better than doing nothing..! ))

  • Very elegant.

  • @henjokongo thanks.

  • my first karat teacher on school stafan roots once said peaple first ask and than find no time to train sanchin so all hektik can confuse first namely the grat plan

  • si lin kwei zhen i must feel really she bu ma kao nam that no man ask for si wei eh ken seu but ask to hit evil ye yen lao so we must wait again

  • i cannot believe that stepping toe first is correct. true crane style never allows this.

  • friend'm from Brazil and was wondering if you can tell me where I can learn Chinese Sanchin and I wish you people talk more about him

  • Shame we can't hear his breathing.

  • simalar in points to uechi-ryu karate after all china is where it came from

  • I am confused, u tagged wing chun, but i see no wing chun in this vid?!?

  • @Londonboy576 Hello friend, WingChun is the name of the birthplace city of the this White Crane style.

This is not YipMan WingChun it is a very different style.

    SIFU

  • @XingYiQuanArgentina i see now. thanks for the explanation.

  • @Londonboy576 look again

  • I cannot appreciate the form completely since I am not educated in it's purpose as well as the style since I've only read a small amount about it. Still I find it nice to watch.

    Good music btw.

  • You find a correct Wing Chun. I learned Wing Chun (Guangzhou style), I find this class of Wing Chun (White Crane) very similar to ours. We know the gesture how is right and how is wrong, not like many others Wing Chun in utube. The twisting punches and the rotating power in punches and keep the center line

  • You find a correct Wing Chun. I learned Wing Chun (Guangzhou style), I find this class of Wing Chun (White Crane) very similar to ours.

  • veryy strange music

  • Haha, Argentinian Kung Fu master, you're really serious about Chinese Kung Fu aren't you. Good that you love our culture so much.

  • @TheVaccumtube Thanks for your comments.

    SIFU

  • O, thank you very much for your comment but, is very wrong. You do not know me.

    SIFU

  • You can see that you are a hsing yi practitioner when you move.

White crane and Hsing Yi are two completely different things.

    Nice form though.

  • i agree with peterwing very well done couldnt have done it better my self awesome mechanics

  • sanchin eh ? why would you even post that online ? wow

  • There's hard and soft movements and tan dien breathing complimenting one another, as the Chinese would say 'Yin Yang Pei He ' ( Yin & Yang matching and combining together ). The fa jing could be a bit more explosive though. Goju- Ryu's kata Sanchin is very similar as it is derived from Ming He Chuan in Fuchou, China where Miyagi, the founder of Goju- Ryu spent the earlier part of his youth pursuing his interest in martial arts.

  • @ruhulee - Miyagi did not learn Sanchin from China, he learned it from his teacher Kanryo Higaonna. Goju Ryu's Sanchin is nothing like White Crane Sanzhan. The breathing, footwork, hand techniques are all different. Goju Ryu's movements are more related to Hakka martial arts. No one wants to admit this but all you have to do is find a White Crane practitioner and find a Southern Mantis Practitioner and compare all three.

  • I totally agree with your comment, soon I will post on youtube '3 steps arrow' of southern mantis. So you can compare the major differences.

    SIFU

  • @Koryuhoka You may be right. As I had also studied Goju-Ryu Karate-do & the Southern Mantis Sam Chien, Goju-Ryu Sanchin is much closer to Southern Mantis Sam Chiem. The Hakka people migrated from the Central Plains in the area between the Huang Ho & Yangtze Kiang ( Chang Jiang ) before & after the Sung Dynasty period and have picked up alot of other people's culture and gung fu along their route of migration to the south.

  • @Koryuhoka

    had to comment

Higaonna reputedly learned sanchin kata, and some hsing-I, while in china. check mark bishop's book.

additionally, the change in the specifics of the movement is not a major consequence. It's the breathing and internal power development methods that connect them.

keep in mind that 110 years ago, what we now call goju, shotokan, isshin ryu, etc, all had the same name.

and that name was... China Hand.

roots are in chinese gung fu...

  • @stillnessinmovement - Oh I understand all this. But I've been a Goju Ryu practitioner 36 years and I also trained in Hsing I Chuan. There is no Hsing I Chuan at all in Goju Ryu. The fact that he learned it, does not mean he included it in his teaching. I have Mark Bishop's book. The breathing in White Crane Samchien is different from Goju Ryu's breathing. Sure, they are supposed to lead to the same results, but do they? Okinawan Sanchin has been linked to imbalances - but not White Cranes.

  • @Koryuhoka

perhaps it's more accurate to say that the hsing-I has dropped out of the Goju ryu, and it should get put back in?

have you noticed how well the goju movements integrate with the 5 elements movements, especially Pi Chuan?

that's the puzzle of all this stuff, to find the essence that's beyond the strictness of a style.

all styles have good and bad points, benefit from the good, adjust to minimize the bad. everyone progresses on their own path...

  • In case anyone was wondering the heading says, "White Crane, Wing CHun 7 Step Sanchin"

Where is this guy from? His training is evident and very nice to watch.

  • Wing Chun is the cantonese spelling for Yong Chun, the village where Yong Chun Bak Hok was created.

  • @joopsnoop - You forgot the "Kuen" after Wing Chun... But this heading is wrong. It should read:

Wing Chun White Crane Boxing - Seven Step Sanchin(Sam Chien - in Hokkien dialect).

Aside from that, this is NOT Wing Chun White Crane's Shi Bu San Zhan. This one is more related to the Taiwanese Crane systems, which though derived from WCWC, have been modified greatly.

  • very very good, i seldon i see a western guy with real fat keng, Your energy is soft as like a wip, congratulations, very balance body/haven/earth.

  • nice.

  • wooow!!! excelent performance!!! Strong Master!!!
