I was looking at DAM MKII clone, too expensive for my taste, but an awesome pedal.
Instead I bought the Throbak Stone Bender, which is another kick ass pedal.
This DAM though sounds awesome, I will have to check into prices and see how much they want. Maybe I will add one of these to my collection. Nice playing man.
Btw, I don't mind the tune-up and playing before hitting the pedal will help people hear how the pedal changes the tone. I have a D*A*M MKII and love it. but DAM!, the 1966 sounds killer too! For people looking for these pedals, search for Differential Audio Manifestationz. Great, handmade stomp boxes from England.
oh shush up....like he said......it makes it easier to hear what the pedal sounds like if you play a little before you kick the pedal on.....duh. I prefer to listen with my ears and not eyes.....and this sounds (and looks) like a Telecaster Custom.Great Stuff.
This pedal seems great for Stones/Faces type stuff...

Cut out the tuning part, reveal the amp and guitar... Hard to define the tone of the pedal otherwise...
