Wow. I haven't seen this since it first came out. It's funny how some things stick in your brain from when you're a kid and everyday things as an adult just wash away. The guy who plays Peter Parker, as soon as I see this guy's face it all comes flooding back and then I even remember the guy who played Larry Tate from this show as well. 33 years later this stuff still somehow stays in the memory. Yet I can't remember much about the last 10 years.

I agree. The storytelling and characterization is BETTER in the '77 than in the Raimi/Maguire versions. Very underrated series! Wonderful work by Hammond as Pete! And F/X? Well, is a story about F/X? Nope. Peace.

The worst thing about this show was that they left out Uncle Ben, which is the motivation behind Peter becoming Spider-Man. A couple of realistically done super-villains would have been nice too, but the show was quite good.

The series blew hard. Spider-man never fought any actual villains from the comics. It was always an ordinary street thug. Among other reasons, this show was doomed from the start.
