I so have to give it a try, the guitar store around the corner has a used unit. Can't wait to see what it can do. Am specifically interested in effects like delay (echo) and compression, maybe tremolo, just some basic effects to trick out my guitar play.
Assume this is digital, doesn't beat transistor pedals IMO but nice enough for a 12 watt Ibanez Toneblaster me guesses and would scale nice with any amp.
I used to have a couple of digital pedals (digitech rp50 then zoom gfx5) then went to a load of stompboxes for live playing (mt2, ge7, fab flanger, cs2, ns2 to name a few) but I found the pedals not only expensive but noisy and bloody messy with all the cables... Now Ive gone back to the dark side and have a POD X3 Live - The quality is immense, digital or not, nowadays theyre all top quality.

sold off this fx last year. last month i got a zoom gfx-5. I say I like the sound quality of ax1500g compared to gfx-5.

these are the settings. not sure abt the cab for clean anymore.
clean:
drive - tube od (gain 9 o'clock)
cab - 4X10 tweed or 2X12 black panel???
modulation - classic chorus
dirty:
drive - seattle ( gain 3 o'clock)
cab - 4X12 modern
