This plug in is very cool. If you like this give the Blueverb DRV-2080 a run, also by Nomad Factory. Again with a simple interface, low cpuusage and models of some of the best reverbs of the 80's and 90's you will find it very useful in tracking and mixing your music.
I digg the sound i will check it out because i am really seeking to a simillar delay to the one ableton has and i am dissapointed from the FL studio native ones. PSP's delay isn't bad !
Man, as much as I would like to like it, at the same time, I can't see anything new offered compared what can be done with logic express default plugins on an AUX bus routed back to itself trough some basic HP/LP filtering / pinch of added crunch, for no additional charge.
@jjuup It's cool man. I don't use logic, and prefer to have a plugin dedicated to a specific task instead of having to do a bunch of routing and creating my own. I don't mind paying for convenience
@SoundsAndGear I see your point, dedicated tools to have their place! Have you checked out ValhallaDSP Valhallaroom? I think you and many of your viewers would appreciate it as it is simply stunning as a reverb per se, but most importantly very very good for small spaces, and as we know, in urban productions, tight small spaces is where it's at, and there aren't many software verbs that can do it properly, Valhallaroom can, and it is just 50usd/35eur!
@jjuup it's on my list! I just download their free freqecho this week :) I've heard great things about it, and you're right, it definitely looks like something up my alley! Thanks for the tips on it too! Have you played with shimmer at all? I heard it's good for sound design type effects and spaces.
@SoundsAndGear Yes, Sean Costello, who basically is Mr.ValhallaDSP, is a wizard and alchemist at what he does! He also did the reverb unit code for Madrona Labs Aalto, which I had the pleasure of Alpha/Betatest, and that verb sounds great too! Hats off to him! Recent updates to Valhallaroom has bought some new algorithms to it as a bonus, you get some "vintage" digital reverbs that are darker then the default basic algorithms, great if you want some early 90s vibes on a track. Subtle lil things.
@SoundsAndGear Another interesting thing you should check out is Sonigen Modular, currently in open beta (free). It's a modular synth, standalone and VST (AU coming when it's ready for prime time). Very interesting if you want to dig in deep with synthesis. It might not be something you want to review (atleast yet), but might be interesting for you personally, as I have a feel you like to check out new cool tools. !)
@MarkSmithMusic aint it? Yeah man I love it...Magnetic is dope, I really like it. Has a nice tone to it. I like the digital/sony tape more than the vintage for the overall master bus, but sometimes I use the vintage as well. It's just a nice tool, I use it for limiting, compression as well as maximizing and coloring, it's versatile imo. Glad I got them both together, hope to see more in this style of interface and ease of use.
