I really enjoy your playing! But a lot of what you do is not in the score. I am a firm believer of playing whats on the page. Don't get me wrong, It was a great performance but for instance the section in the end where you play double-stops, in the score they are "triple" stops. I roll them personally, but you did not play them at all! anyway I'm a picky musician and I very much enjoyed your take on the piece. Congrats!
Dave's the man. I played with him in Oregon for the Britt Music Festival. I'll see if I can hunt this sheet music down. I hope he publishes more of it!
sounded great. where do i get Dave Andersons music from; the closest i've gotten was having my former teacher asking him at a rehearsal but it was right when the concerto for bass/harp/ and strings had just come out so i don't think it was published yet. i checked on liben and lemur with no luck.
As the composer... I don't mind at all Jason's very cool interpretation... it should have that free feeling!!! He knocked it out!!!

there is a lot of merit to playing the ink, but ultimately that decision comes down to ideology, which is a complex and very personal thing

Maybe, could you post on your blog where to get some of Anderson's stuff?
